School Positions Opened Or Closed?
Were jobs filled at the school system before anyone even knew there was a vacancy? Jobs include asst. principal at GCHS and two positions to replace Mrs Ferguson. Those positions are being filled by none other than Ms. McMasters and Cindy Young wife of school board member Mike Young. Are these positions really necessary after all there are still two assistants to Mrs Ferguson already?
Is Mrs Young qualified for this position, probably. However the real question should be, based on the way this was done, is this a pay back for all the favorable votes board member Young has cast for Mr. Jackson? Why was Mr. Young’s daughter given tenure after being turned down just days earlier? Is she deserving of tenure, probably but again the way it was done leaves many smelly questions to be answered.How did the school system go from one person doing the job of Supervisor of Instruction to having four people do the same thing with approximately the same number of students?

fergusons supervisor job was posted and everybody knew about it. the gchs asst principle, rhs principle, and central office position are posted on the county school website and in schools. a fax was sent out to schools that mcmasters did get the supervisors position. the others are still posted and arent up til june 6. young may or maynot get the job but cant have it yet since its not up til the 6th.
Mrs. Ferguson's job was posted after it had been filled, just check the dates.
Assistant position filled at PES. Ann Oaks got that job.
Ask about who is doing the interviews for the PE job at PES.
Richland High--Hear that Mike Gonzales wants it.(?)
Giles Co. High--hear that Mark Cardin is in line for it. (?)
