Another Bonus??????

Why was Mrs. Ferguson given a $5,000.00 payment to retire? How many “classroom teachers” get a $5,000.00 going away present?

At least the teachers "may" get this one but I'll not be holding my breath waiting. Mr Jackson doesn't have a long history of looking out for teachers only administrators.

Just to prove that no administrator ever goes away they just come back reincarnated as a part time employee. Mrs. Ferguson will be a part time employee at approximately $6,000.00 for much less than 180 days a year. Allen Barrett

Why do we need a part-time employee (to advise McMasters?)when according to Tee Jackson Ms McMasters comes to central office with mucho knowledge and experience.

There isn't a part time position posted on the school web site. If you mean Mrs. Ferguson, she is going to work part time to do teacher evaluations (I heard to do them at GCHS), not to advise Mrs. McMasters. You're jumping to the wrong conclusion there. What you should be asking is why the principal at GCHS can't do his own evaluations. The principals at all the other schools do their own and always have.

May be he can't do them because he has three assistant principals to entertain. You wouldn't want him to be so tired he couldn't check out all the fine females would you.

What nitwits! Could be because TJ had to find a job for "Fergie" so he could keep paying her? Course now that you've mentioned it, several of the principals we have doing evaluations is a joke. Somebody needs to be evaluating them!!!! Let's start at the elementary schools and work our way up.

Mrs. Ferguson is going to evaluate the teachers for the principals. The principals are suppose to do that as part of their job description. With almost every school having an assistant(s) they should get it done themselves. That would at least open up $5000.00 to be used somewhere else, unethical I'm sure.

May Ms. McMaster will find her niche in life. She can find a spot somewhere and be miserable by herself and on good days go out into the schools and be the pleasant person I know she can be. She should never have left the classroom. Ms. mean not married. She isn't a Mrs.

Why is she at the Central Office? Two reasons: 1 to make Kennedy look good at election time and 2 to appease the Pearces and the Storey's in case he is elected and I hear he has a 2 to 1 chance of winning.

And people keep in mind Mr. Stogner that is running at Minor Hill has a wife that is Principal of Minor Hill school. So if you know anyone who lives in Minor Hill area of down Cedar Grove Rd. ask them to please think long and hard before they put another family member in to be a yes man.

if talk and bs like that is the kind of crap principals have to put up with from teachers and parents, i can see why anyone would jump at the chance to get away from being one.

I agree strongly with 7:42 about the issue for Ronnie Stogner running for Dist. 2 school board. We don't need him on the board because his wife is up Jackson's butt. Lisa will be the next one at the central office. So, remember in August to VOTE GLOVER FOR SCHOOL BOARD!!! KEEP THE ONES OFF WITH THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST!!!

7:42 - Is that the same Pearces who have filed several ridiculous law suits against the school system? If so they haven't done anything but ruin there name and there kids. My son told me they used to be popular at school but one of them ran for student office and didn't get a single vote. If Story wins a seat on the school board, then won't the family sort of be suing themselves?

yes, same ones. they took over the booster club and made a mess of it and basicly caused everyone else to quit. and now i guess they want to run the school too.

Mrs. Ferguson has been giving out teacher's addresses to some stranger selling an educational CD. Can she get in trouble for giving out personal information? (Privacy Act) She should have asked teachers first if they were interested. This needs to be stopped NOW!~!!!

Mrs Ferguson has always done as she pleases relying of flightiness and her being a dingbat to protect her. Nothing will be used to change her. She was my teacher and while I loved her she was just in outer space most of the time.

Yes, Ms Ferguson could be in deep doo doo for giving out personal addresses.

Want to bet she's in trouble. Nobody will complain and she will do as she always has done, just as she pleases.

These are very unkind things you whiners are saying about a gracious and elegant lady. Have you people ever made a mistake and then have someone like you call them names? Shameful!

Perhaps, the gracious and elegant lady should think before leaps. Many, many times she has hurt others feelings and one particular occasion was not because she didn't think first, she was just plain cruel in her comments.

I cannot believe Mrs. Ferguson gave out addresses. I know that teachers have let individuals have their handbooks for the purpose of getting the addresses. I don't think it is ethical but it has been done. Maybe the school should quit giving teachers a handbook with phone numbers and addresses. I don't know why anybody wants those anyway. GCEA would have the phone numbers and addresses of any members. There are privacy laws and no one should be given this information without permission. I know that I don't want mine given out to salesmen or any other mailing list, I get enough junk mail and phone calls without that.
