Voter Fraud Through False Petitions Is A Crime Unless It Happens In Giles County

Obama Admin. Officials Convicted Of Voter Fraud In Obama Election

If you thought that Obama’s 2008 election just didn’t seem right, it turns out you were on to something. At the end of last month, two Democratic officials from Indiana were arrested and convicted of ballot fraud. It appears that Obama truly wasn’t eligible to be on the ballot.
Chairman Butch Morgan Jr. from St. Joseph County was convicted of felony conspiracy to commit petition fraud and forgery. Dustin Blyth, who served on the Board of Elections, was charged with felony forgery and several counts of making a false petition. Both men were charged and convicted for submitting fake names and signatures on petitions that were designed to get Obama and Hillary Clinton onto the 2008 primary ballots. Morgan seems to have been the driver of the actions.
County Sheriffs have uncovered that many locals of St. Joseph county appeared on the petitions, although they have sworn they never signed them.
Unfortunately, the case wasn’t brought to the court until 2011, when Lucas Burkett of the Board of Registration decided that he felt too guilty to continue carrying the secret. Authorities determined that had the criminal action not taken place, Obama probably wouldn’t have appeared on the ballot in St. Joseph County.
What do you think should be done about such fraud?

Officials found guilty in Obama, Clinton ballot petition fraud

A jury in South Bend, Indiana has found that fraud put President Obama and Hillary Clinton on the presidential primary ballot in Indiana in the 2008 election. Two Democratic political operatives were convicted Thursday night in the illegal scheme after only three hours of deliberations. They were found guilty on all counts.
Former longtime St. Joseph County Democratic party Chairman Butch Morgan Jr.  was found guilty of felony conspiracy counts to commit petition fraud and forgery, and former county Board of Elections worker Dustin Blythe was found guilty of felony forgery counts and falsely making a petition, after being accused of faking petitions that enabled Obama, then an Illinois Senator, to get on the presidential primary ballot for his first run for the White House.
Morgan was accused of being the mastermind behind the plot.
According to testimony from two former Board of Election officials who pled guilty, Morgan ordered Democratic officials and workers to fake the names and signatures that Obama and Clinton needed to qualify for the presidential race. Blythe, then a Board of Elections employee and Democratic Party volunteer, was accused of forging multiple pages of the Obama petitions.
"I think this helped uphold the integrity of the electoral system," the prosecutor, Stan Levco told reporters.
“Their verdict of guilt is not a verdict against Democrats, but for honest and fair elections,” he said.

Here's what I think.

The biggest fraud that has ever been perpetuated on the American people was when the Supreme Court handed George Bush the presidency.

Let us not forget that we are still paying the price for his presidency: 9/11, the Iraq war, the afghan war, Isis, the meltdown of the economy, and on and on. NO "fraud" can compare.

You should think your God that Barack Obama was elected president and not John McCain or Mitt Romney.

So Bush caused 9/11 and of course when clinton was president and the world trade center was bombed the first time it was Bush that caused that too. The Iraq war, of course you forgot that over thirty UN resolutions were ignored by Hussin and that the evidence of poisonous gas was shipped to Syria was also overlooked and that the war in Iraq was won until obama withdrew the troops and handed victory to the terrorist. Of course it was Bush who came back to the White House after obama was elected and ordered troops to Afghanistan without obama knowing it. And of course the little homosexual drug dealing crackhead had nothing to do with the total destruction of the economy, the middle class and the race relations or the war on cops. 12:49 you are living in a dream world where your rose colored glasses have deceived you into believing the lies of the little homo crackhead.

The world is in a mess because it has gotten away from God and His teachings. It takes a very ignorant person to blame God for the stupid decisions that man makes. No wonder people say God doesn't exist when you have a continual whine about how God didn't save you from the consequences of your decision to do meth; God didn't make you wealthy when you asked Him for millions of dollars which sitting on the couch for hours on end watching some feel good charlatan tell you that God is the source of all your problems; that God causes people to die, be sick, have their house blown away by a tornado, children killed in car wrecks, etc. I would remind people that God created a paradise for us to live in but we chose to follow our own arrogant egos. God gave us choices, along with that choice comes consequences from those choices. If a person chooses to ignore all learning opportunities in school is it the teacher's fault you can't read, write, think past the end of your nose or get a job. If a person chooses to drive their car at 90 mph after drinking five pitchers of beer is it really God that caused them to wreck? The fact is, as proven by billions of examples, God loves us and seeks our very best but in order to gain our very best requires following God's instructions. We can not please God and receive all His intended blessings while engaged in an active rebellion against Him.

Mr. Barrett,

I do enjoy your blog, the topics that you cover and how you attempt to keep the politicians of Giles county honest.

However, when you start writing absolute nonsense about God, creation, and all the other mythological topics then you have strayed into a fantasy world that is just not supported by reason and or science. There is absolutely no evidence, none, zero, zip, that there is a God. There are no ghost no demons no angels no saints no Devils etc. we are totally on our own and it is up to us to make the best of the world that we have inherited through evolution.

Now I would love if there were God. I would love the idea that somebody was looking after me. But the facts are not there. Here's just one.

9 million children, just under the age of five, die every single year on this planet according to the World Health Organization. Where is your God? Think of the suffering of these children. Where is your God? And think about their parents… Think of the suffering that they are going through… The pain that they are enduring. Where is your God?

When you can get a reasonable, scientific, sustainable answer to those questions then I will listen.

I'm sorry that you have such an unfortunate understanding of life. I will be glad to show you evidence that God exist if you will show me evidence that the world evolve out of nothing and use the same criteria for establishing that evidence as credible for both sides of the question. There are many terrible, horrible things that take place in this world. If you remember I said originally God created a perfect paradise for us where there was no illness, dangers or death. We chose to live outside God's will and thus we opened "Pandora's Box" to all sorts or horror through out rebellion against God. Even then God has provided a way for man to live in harmony if we would only abandon our struggle against God. Now let me tell you that I know God is real not only by the historical records from many cultures and societies but from my own experiences with Him. I have personally seen His hand in many miracles including in my own life. Most of the miracles have occurred in the incredible changed lives. Yes, I agree 8:16 He is a heck of a God and I am grateful that in all His magnificance He has taken the time to not only save me but be involved with me on a continual basis.

Allen, It's not an "unfortunate understanding," it's an acceptance of the world as it is, not how we would want it to be. Just look at the current downing of the jet over in Saudi Arabia that killed all those people including 24 children. Where was God? Was your God capable of doing something but didn't? Then he is malevolent. What is he capable but couldn't? Then he is impotent.

Regardless, what facts can I give you? What facts can you give a person who doesn't value facts? What evidence can you give a person who doesn't value evidence? When dealing with a person that doesn't value facts or evidence the conversation is over.

The rejection of science and reason has led this world into the situation that is now in. And isn't it kind of interesting that in every other aspect of your life you always demand evidence, always demand facts. Yet when it comes to your religion, when it comes to your God, you suspend the requirement for facts, for evidence... You ignore facts and evidence… And go with unsupported proposition of some kind a deity.

This is how people lose their credibility.

So stick to what you know and be quiet about all this other delusional stuff, namely religion.

Historically religion is a collection of thoughts, practices and beliefs that support the wants and desires of those in charge (e.g. priests, etc.). Even the Bible has been modified, from its original gospels, by those who wanted it to support that Jesus was a deity (direct son of GOD) and therefore they removed all gospels that did not support this theory.

Religious "facts", especially those in ancient history are very hard to support; especially if one contemplates that the Bible has been re-written and translated from the ancient Hebrew to today's English. I am sure that there were never any mistakes in translation.

I do believe in a GOD. But, it is difficult for many in Giles County to accept the fact that Jesus was not a Christian; rather he was Hebrew (Jewish).

Those that came after Jesus (many years after) became, were and are Christians.

To the 8:30 6 Nov Poster

For me it is an “unfortunate understanding” because it leaves you with this world being all there is and for me that is a really sad state to be in. I didn’t say you were wrong in your understanding. I also accept that the world is as it is but like so many other things when you become satisfied with them you tend to stop seeking improvement. You once again bring up things that apparently you believe show God as responsibe for terrible things. The plane that was blown up a few days ago just like the horrible destruction of the World Trade Center or a murderous attack on innocent people are human decisions that make those things happen, not God. As I stated before when man rebelled against God he exercised his free will and so it is to this day. God allows man to have free will to choose, He does not force man to decide right.
Why do you express such a negative about facts and evidence? I stated rather clearly I believe that, “I will be glad to show you evidence that God exist if you will show me evidence that the world evolved out of nothing and use the same criteria for establishing that evidence as credible for both sides of the question”. My only requirement was that all the facts and evidences presented by both sides should have to meet the same criteria for acceptance. Basically it’s a matter that simply because Al Gore says Polar Bears are disappearing at an alarming rate doesn’t make it anymore so than to say simply because the pope said the Shroud of Turin was used to cover Jesus makes it so.
Your assertion that religion is for the delusional is a slander against millions of everyday people and thousands of the greatest minds in history.
So, to make a bottom line let me restate your position as you stated it, “isn't it kind of interesting that in every other aspect of your life you always demand evidence, always demand facts. Yet when it comes to your religion, when it comes to your God, you suspend the requirement for facts, for evidence... You ignore facts and evidence… And go with unsupported proposition of some kind a deity”. You have presented no evidence, no facts that could be ignored so that premise is negated. There are many things that you and I both take on faith rather than facts every day. It’s faith that allows us to get in our car believing it will start, it’s faith in the people at Mc Donalds that causes us to place an order with them, it’s faith that makes us believe our employer will pay us for the work we have done.
I would not accept the reality of God without facts and evidence any more than I would accept the idea of man crawling out of the sea without evidence and facts to support it. While I firmly believe in evolution as a process of development I just as firmly reject the theory that man or anything else evolved from nothing into something. The facts are the facts.

I have to agree with the guy from 8:30.

In your arguments you start from the premise that is nonverifiable. That is, you assume there is a God and then work from there. You attribute the good in life to God and the bad to some kind of "rebellion". Is there any proof of this rebellion? Of course not.

If something good happens it's because of God. If something bad happens it's because of sin. And when somebody like 830 point out the obvious you use the "who are we to judge God" argument. This is like playing tennis without the net.

To say that things are bad because of this non provable rebellion is a circular argument and therefore has no basis.

In fact in every paragraph that's all you do, give circular arguments.

You need to let this go. You are really looking foolish, Barrett.

This is all real interesting and everything but really an academic conversation.

The data is clear. Religion is declining in the United States mainly because of the advances of science and a better understanding of our world (evolution) and our place in the universe.

So it is just a matter of time before religion, and belief in God goes the way of astrology and homeopathy.

To the 5:26, 6 Nov. Poster.
I have no problem with you agreeing with the 8:30 poster but would prefer that it be for better reasons than an obvious misreading of my comments. As I stated “the criteria for establishing facts and evidence must be the same for both sides of the discussion”. You claim I start from a “noverifiable” premise by “assuming there is a God and then work from there” but is that any different than starting from the assumption that there is no God and then working from there? I did not attribute the good in life to God anymore than I attributed the bad in life to the devil. Please at least use the correct statements in your argument. Let me restate what I wrote earlier, God originally created a perfect paradise for man, but man decided to rebel by refusing to follow God’s will for him. God allowed man to make his own decisions and within that, man also must live with the consequences of those decisions. Man decides whether to do good or bad, sometimes even while deciding to do good it turns out bad not because God makes it so but because of the decisions of other humans. Now you ask for proof of the rebellion. if rebellion is defined as the process of resisting authority or convention, then a simple reading of the ten commandments reveals our rebellion. Reading the words of Jesus shows our rebellion. Neither necessarily has to do with God but just the power of correctness in the words. Man by his very nature is rebellious.

Again, I never said that when something good happens in life it’s God but anything bad is a result of our rebellion. Our rebellion against God has separated us from Him and thus we make the decisions and are responsible for the results good or bad. I am beginning to wonder if you even read what I actually wrote or if you are responding to something from someone else. Where is your argument for evolving from nothing into what we are today?

To the 5:37, 6 Nov. poster

Don’t know what your source of data is but “religion” is not decreasing in the United States. Christianity is decreasing in some parts and certainly has been weakened but not necessarily because of any advances in science but for the hypocritical behavior of those identified as leaders and the on going hostility toward Christianity.
You speak boldly of evolution but fail to show any evidence of evolving from nothing to something. While I fully agree that living things are continually evolving I have yet to see any proof or evidence of anything evolving from nothing into something and without that evolution is nothing more than improving upon what is.

Creating a false narrative then knocking it down may work well for the liberal democrat but it simply does not provide anything to the discussion. For instance please show me where the Bible tells us that the Earth is only 4,000 years old. If I gave a history of the United States and stated that it was less than four centuries old would you assume that the land was less than 400 years old or would you more accurately determine that the organized country was less than 400 years?
The Bible is not a specific history of all of God's creation but a generalized history of God's relationship with the Jewish Nation.

As indicated earlier, the Bible does not fix the age of the earth, contrary to the claims of Answers in Genesis.1 Historically, their claim comes from the work of James Ussher, Bishop in the Church of Ireland, from 1625 to 1656. Archbishop Ussher took the genealogies of Genesis, assuming they were complete, and calculated all the years to arrive at a date for the creation of the earth on Sunday, October 23, 4004 B.C.2 Of course, even assuming the method was valid, such an exact date is not possible from the genealogies of the Bible (Ussher assumed all the years the patriarchs lived were exactly 365.25 days long and that they all died the day before their next birthday). There are a number of other assumptions implicit in the calculation. The first, and foremost, assumption is that the genealogies of Genesis are complete, from father to son throughout the entire course of human existence. The second assumption is that the Genesis creation "days" were exactly 24-hours in length.

Solomon died, and the kingdom was divided 37 years later (1 Kings 11:42). And then Jerusalem was destroyed 390 years after this, according to Ezekiel 4:4-6. When these numbers are added, we find that the destruction of Jerusalem was in 3419 AM. However, we have an extra-biblical date for this event — 584 BC. When 3419 is added to 584, we find that the year of the creation was about 4003 BC

At the Council of Nicea, Emperor Constantine presided over a group of church bishops and other leaders with the purpose of defining the nature of God for all of Christianity and eliminating confusion, controversy, and contention within the church. The Council of Nicea overwhelmingly affirmed the deity and eternality of Jesus Christ and defined the relationship between the Father and the Son as “of one substance.” It also affirmed the Trinity—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were listed as three co-equal and co-eternal Persons.

There were 10 disputed books (Hebrews, James, 2 Peter, 2-3 John, Jude, Ps-Barnabas, Hermas, Didache, Gospel of Hebrews) and several that most all considered heretical—Gospels of Peter, Thomas, Matthaias, Acts of Andrew, John, etc.

Liberal scholars and fictional authors like to purport the idea that the gospels of Thomas and Peter (and other long-disputed books) contain truths that the church vehemently stomped out, but that simply has no basis historically. It is closer to the truth to say that no serious theologians really cared about these books because they were obviously written by people lying about authorship and had little basis in reality. That is one reason why a council declaring the canon was so late in coming (397 AD), because the books that were trusted and the ones that had been handed down were already widely known.

It is sad what the media asks the candidates, if you call them that. They bicker over silly things when people are getting their heads chopped off. Look at what happened to Paris today. They and we should all be concerned, but instead they are asked about fantasy football and if they use a damn cell phone for texting. It does not look good on either side for them to run our country.

This isn't rocket science.

When you have candidates that are asked if they accept the fact of evolution and many of them say they don't then clearly there are people running for president who are delusional. Hucklebee, et. al.

And people wonder why we have a mess on our hands?

Thank you George Bush.

Someone always will place blame no matter who is in office. It was even before Bush. Goes a long way back. No one will ever agree. Democrats against Republicans. People vote for their party because they are that "party". Why should that be? It should be who is the better person for the job. We are going to see worse things before it gets better. Give someone cash, just like the man that taught the terrorist to fly the plane but not land it. Should have been a red flag but cash in the hand, people do not care. Sad, very sad and greedy and caused thousands of lives. So I would not just blame Bush, blame some of the greedy and selfish people in the US also. And you are right, a mess we have and sad to say, ISIS has no conscious, they do not care for human (Americans) at all. Soliciting children out there that feel they have no life here. As time passes, it will hit close to home to some of us and the even worst part, we cannot stop it, it seems. So blame Bush, or whomever, but when someone gives a clerk thousands of dollars at an airport who is making minimum wage and knows something is wrong but the green looks better to them, they are just as evil as them. Going back further when our jobs got sent out of the country just because the rich Americans do not have to pay as much to their workers over seas, etc. We have to look at the whole picture and no it is not rocket science. People cannot even get along in their small little town and county so how in the hell can the world get along? Judgement and people feeling they cannot be touched or nothing can happen to them. Far from the truth! I feel sorry for the kids of the future. It is not going to be easy at all.

OK. I'll say what nobody else will say out loud.

The reason this happened is because of religion. It's simply Islam's turn.

The Christians had their time for about 1000 years during the Dark and Middle Ages, Torturing and killing a massive amount of people.

If you read your Old Testament you'll see the Jews had their time. Again, torturing and killing a massive amount of people.

It's just the new kid on the block's time.

Something bad happens everyday at the county high schools...criminal in fact.

You know what it is?

It's called a horrible education and the consequences are a life of "catching up" low-paying jobs and being trapped in the cycle of ignorance.

Now the good news...if you want to think of it that way...is that Giles County is not the only one with this problem. It pervades the South in general and rural towns in particular.

The cure?

A School Board that has the will to make the schools better. It's as simple as that.

Why don't they do it?

FEAR.

It is really funny seeing how they conduct themselves. Downright embarrassing. So sad!

Wednesday, December 02, 2015 1:39:00 PM

1:39 you're right...it always catches up but in this case it MOSTLY "catches up" to the students. That is, when they go out into the "real world" and they find out that they are so far behind other people their age who got a good education in a good school district that's when it hits them.

BUT, from what I see, most students stay around this area so they really don't know until they "venture out." Now as long as they stay in rural areas, they'll be safe. But let them try to better themselves by "escaping" and they are in for a shocker.

Nobody likes to be made fun. However, let them drop one "hisself" (and for those reading this who don't know, "hisself" is not a word) in speaking and the stares will be everywhere. BUT, you cannot blame the student. Do you know that there is a Senior class English teacher at GCHS that uses this word? I nearly shit when I heard the person use it. Not a coach an ENGLISH teacher. When I confronted this person they said they knew that but the were, and I shit you not, "trying to blend."

Add to that religion and the criticism of science and FACTS and the students are DOOMED.

About time!!!
In state news proposed legislation by State Representative John Holsclaw would prohibit all use of cellular telephones while driving without the aid of a “hands free” device. It is currently illegal to send a text message or email while driving however law enforcement officers have difficulty distinguishing between a motorist who is dialing a phone and one who is composing a message. According to the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security the state has the highest rate of fatality caused by use of handheld devices in the nation with 40 fatalities since 2010 in addition to more than 1,300 accidents caused by a distracted motorists. If the legislation passes with the coming session of the General Assembly a $50 fine will be issued to violators. An analysis published by the Harvard Center for Risk Analysis and the School for Public Health indicates that the use of “hands free” devices may not significantly lower the risk of distraction while operating a motor vehicle as the conversation itself is the source of distraction rather than the telephone. Representative Holsclaw believes this to be a significant first step towards increasing the safety of Tennessee motorists by adding the state to the 14 others which control the use of hand held devices while driving.

From WKSR: A preliminary injunction filed by U.S. District Judge Kevin Sharp reiterates that students in the Giles County School District may wear apparel which displays their support for L.G.B.T. rights and that such apparel is considered protected speech. The injunction is an important first step in the suit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee on behalf of a Richland High School student. On the first day of the Autumn term Rebecca Young was publicly reprimanded by Principal Micah Landers for wearing just such an article of clothing. The Board of Education has made no indication that they will contest the suit thus far. Students return from their winter break on January fifth.

We do have choices, but be careful with your words because life hands you certain things that sometimes a different "choice" has to be made. It is not going to be easy for some of these young kids today. Things are handed to them. Hope any of them the best.

Some use their supposed education as a means to push others back in their place. It's doubtful the "Grammar Guradian" could not understand the comment as much as could not stand to read the comment because of it's basic truth. Today we have millions of people going to college and either learning nothing or being focused of such unimportant things that they come out of college as ignorant and ill prepared as when they went in. Many have experienced the phenomenon of having their education far exceed their intelligence. Look at the large number of "college graduates" in this county and how it is run. The school system is filled with college graduates and look at what a mess it's in. All over the country there are college graduates that don't have enough common sense to hold down a job at McDonalds.

Once again, everyone has a choice. The question is.....How bad do you want it?

Yes we all have choices and I am going to offer my children better choices in life and it will not be in Giles County. When you sit in a meeting and you have a person with a degree just reading a presentation off of power point instead of actually presenting it and teaching it, it is a bit sad. The worse part of it is, when a question is asked, they have no answers. When you have a person in the school system, degrading children because of their situations at home. Recruiting issues going on under our noses. Certain people feeling as though they rule the school because of ONE sport. Staff hopping, skipping and jumping with one another in the school. Should I go on? So you see, you may have that piece of paper, but I want my children to have the chances and opportunities to get the best hands on experiences and learn how to conduct and present themselves in a manner of intelligence, respect and kindness along with a great education. That goes even further in life. If some here think they have handled things in the proper way, then so be it. Their life and their choices. Remember it's not just about the schooling, it's about being human and respecting one another. Sure it happens everywhere, but in Giles County I have seen so much disrespect and cruelness. It's their choice! Everyone has one! As you see on the news, all of these highly educated people make stupid choices and destroy their lives and family in one second over money, power and sex! Some are in jail, some took their life, some are bankrupt and on and on. One day we will all sit back and look back on our choices. Some will smile but some will live with regret! To make choices you have to make damn sure you can live with the consequences, good or bad! I feel great about my choices? How about you?

The desire for power is quite disturbing to me. One family, who has had a coach in the system that was allowed to come back because he had a granddaughter playing. To heck with the other lives that get affected. The son continues to pull strings with the school board, the High School administration and the football situation. His buddy was chair of the school board. His buddy's wife has been promoted way beyond her capabilities. His wife is a jealous and arrogant snob. She has been given a cushy position. I guess they sleep well at night? I don't know how.

It's funny to me how many of you believe in freedom of religion as long as it conforms to your beliefs. Not too hypocritical are you?

What does religion have to do with it? Oh darn, I forgot, you are perfect! We all can be hypocritical. It is funny to see some of our politicians, school board members and staff of schools singing and praising and then there is Monday. Cruelness, revengeful, greed and more is everywhere. We do all face our demons sooner or later. I am far from perfect and I do not want to be, but to see what is going on in this county is really disturbing.

How ironic, Friday January 08, 2016 1:03:00 AM, that you pounce on someone's grammar when you managed to leave two commas out where they belonged and added one where it did not. You should probably be sure that you are smarter than the one you are correcting. Oh btw, I left out the fact that your last sentence was not even complete. Dumbass, educated is one thing you are not.
