Every day I'm struck dumbfounded by the pristine beauty of Giles County. There is no explaining the gently rolling hils, or colors of fall and spring that divide the seasons, as with times of birth and times of rest. We are blessed by the fact that nothing is required other than accepting and believing a supernatural state that is not intended to be understood by man. And, so it is with God, the Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. If you do not look, you will not see. If you do not listen, you will not hear. If you do not touch, you will not feel. If you believe, you will tremble with joy. If you doubt, you will wander in darkness.
So it is with the conception and birth of Jesus - certainly a time of joy and celebration. Man and his trillions of dollars can not compete with the gifts and miracles of God.
Yes, in soite of the economy, we have so many blessings to be thankful for these days.
My hope for the coming year is that we will all be mindful that we are our brothers' keepers and that we would resolve to stop all the negative and hurtful stuff and live the Golden Rule.
Can I get an amen on that?

Those driven by deception, lust, greed and corruption are not brothers and will not be until they repent and change their way of life. Even when they do change, only a fool will give free reign until they prove themselves. He who keeps and protects evil does the works of evil - got to fight it, not tolerate & accept evil!

WOW. I thought this thread was going to be about Christmas. It seems that it quickly went negative with the accusations just recently posted.
You guys need to quit it. The accusations and insults have gotten out of hand.
Christmas is about the Christian faith. You don't have to look very far or long to find how controversial that subject is in today's world of anti-Christian activity. Muslims have been slitting throats for centuries. If your sword is faster than my bullet you'll have my head instead of a pig skin casket. If you don't like Christianity, take a holiday vacation in Bagdad & leave us to our rituals. Call it "tolerance", if you can't find a justification!
Our issue is omnipresent in our government and false "charitable" protectors of citizen and faith (ACLU and other Constitution shredders). Everyone now has a "right to whatever", except the Christian, the unborn child, the non-pervert, the seeker of truth, and those who made it through Exodus and believe.
Those who revere false prophets, idols, etc., hate the restraints of morality, justice, and the rules scribed in Exodus. Today, it is a one sided war of attrition where the false right to obstruct and deny rules the obligations of civility, morality, and choice to freely practice Christianity!
And, so rests the plight of a very few who hate the messengers' who warn that the high priest of education is a pathological liar. The issue is claimed disrespect for alter of education. In fact the claimed alter is little more than a golden bull calf that promises milk and honey for homage, but poisons the water and strikes barren the fields of hope.
Have any read the lot of Lot, the plight of a very few to save the wayward many? Must we argue the the overwhelming history of good protecting their heritage by wiping out overwhelming numbers and odds? The deceiver argues to deceive. The Christian defends Christianity and children who will defend it after their time is past.
It's at the point where Christian labors and dollars will not support corruption, nor pay respect or homage to it or anyone who defends it. Change is here. If you're not looking, you will not see until after it runs you over! The warnings and calls to action are not out of hand! Corruption is out of hand & it's going to end!

700- The phrase "pathological liar" describes known activity over a long period of time! It has been documented over and over again. Thus, that which one predictably does, is what they are known by. Because the lies are most commonly used to take things from others by deception, the term becomes particulary negative as in crook, conniver, & con-artist.
If the high priest of education never deceived anyone, that leader would be honest and trustworthy. If that leader protected the well being of his subjects, love would prevail.
The word liar can include the beloved story teller, where no one is really deceived to their disadvantage, or the scoundrel who deceives to take against their will - (the negative connotation) (Exodus 20-15 & 16).
Lying in the negative includes taking things that are coveted (Exodus 20-17).
Pathological is an attempt to explain the unexplainable in medical terms, such as doing things without conscience, remorse, or calculable feelings for those hurt. If one lies, gets caught in it and tells another lie to cover the first, and so on to infinity, chances are pretty good we have a pathological liar.
To date, I know of no repentance or apology. Has anyone heard "I didn't know there was that much money comming in", or "I thought the school roofs were leaking, but it was just mop water.", or "Goodness, we sure didn't need all of those tax increases that I mistakenly fought so hard to get.", or, "I didn't know we had a room full of pencils & paper." or, "we shouldn't have hired all of my loyal friends & given raises to those who helped me deceive you.", or "teachers should have received a good raise instead of me and the book doctor." The list is endless.
That brings us to God's little children. We love little children. The high priest knows that, too. Surely high priest would know the store house is filled with pencils & paper and would never was none just to get more money to divert to raises for friends or a golden calf on the hillside. "Goldie" is there!
Near endless thoughts come full circle back to the nice way of describing the situation - pathological liar!
As for 700 and the other defenders of corruption, we're sure you aren't Pat Robinson. Perhaps you are the high priest, the carver of the golden calf, a fat friend craving more, or simply a pathological liar unable to help themself from helping themself to things belonging to others. Whatever it be, the high priest doesn't belong in an education system, corrupting young tender souls.
A happy New Year would include integrity, honesty, and truth replacing the opposite characteristics.
Defenders of corruption? What a laugh. If you guys could just get over the fact that you have no political power and stop with all the hatred, name-calling, and belittlement of those you so zealously resent, I think we would have a much better county. In addition, you guys would probably find that those on "the other side" would be more willing to discuss things with you. We have a liar and corruption infecting our department of education. It is not an elected office. If it was, waiting for an election to do the right thing would be counterproductive and damaging to the public & children influenced by it. Waiting for incompetence and corruption to correct itself has never solved a single problem. If we waited for you to do something about it, we'd die of old age & poverty. The facts are there, been aired, & it's long past time to react! In this case, time has allowed the corrupter to stack the cards against financial management - That's absolutely sick!
When life gets untenable for those elected to run things, they will fire the individual for cause. If there is a suit for breach of contract - so be it - their case has to be proven in court. There is a long and wide trail of lies and improper acts that would smother a wrongful termination suit!
As for the shame of it all, let people be known for what the are and do. It's Biblical! If they don't like it, it's up to them to change their behavior and image, not me or anyone else! An excellent comment on the process of corruption using confusion and deception to influence and promote the causes of corruption. The subject is as you state, has never changed, has never contributed anything of value, & continues tryinbg to wear down opposition with useless dribble and babble. We have an obligation to preserve a civil & honest society.

1005 "It's Biblical" has several meanigs
From a historical standpoint, it refers to standards of conduct from the earliest beginnings of recorded civilization. Be it folklore or however the story is told, the messages provide a basis of learning and civility. For instance, if there is no truth, man is totally on an individual basis, because he can never rely on what anyone else communicates. Example: If "T" tells "J" the path is clear, and "J" runs down the path and over the precipice to his death, what have we? Obviously, "J" will not be around to warn "T"'s next victim and the cycle will never end. 820 might say it's a "win - win" situation where "T" got what he wanted from "J" to educate "the children", and "J" doesn't have to work or worry about feeding his children any more. The Bible, on the other hand, might suggest that lying, coveting, and sending someone to their demise would earn "T" a trip to the precipice and an opportunity to discover right from wrong in the brief period of time it takes to get from the edge of the cliff to the rocks below. Seems the elders of community education haven't grasped that message yet.
Our country is founded on Christian values and faith. Whether you believe in the Christian faith or not, the Ten Commandments stand as the foundation of civility & freedom.

The truth that you fail to see is that you are describing, for the most part, you guys' collective behavior. Ironic, isn't it? It's somewhat like the pot calling the kettle black.

Babblehead's chain has been jerked to the point of distraction. It's like poking a stick at a snake. Our education system has created an avalance of convincing debaters who have no consideration, thought or awarewness of facts! Our national elections are classic examples! Truth & the Ten Commandments have been removed from our education system. The debaters produced by that system are void of that substance. As in survival of the fittest & the T&J thing, we are rotting from within. When the pillar of education is eaten by termites, it's time to get rid of the termites & replace the pillar. We can't talk about or feel the spirit of Christ or Christmas without being drowned by the perils thrown at it. It is worth protecting! If you want to continue trying to pervert our government mandated system of educating our precious children, expect to get run over and known for what you are.
