Obama Plays The Race Card Again!

Imagine – just for an unimaginable moment – Rick Santorum launching a campaign initiative entitled “White People for Rick Santorum.” What would be the response from Barack Obama, Democrats across the country, the Obama Media Group (OMG), and your liberal friends? Unimaginably imaginable, isn’t it?
“RACISM!” That’s what. You know it. I know it. They know it. Obama’s sock puppets in the “mainstream” media would suffer a collective apoplectic seizure the likes of which has not been seen since liberal media sycophants turned their wrath on the audacious Monica Lewinsky for having the unmitigated gall to trap Bill Clinton into seducing her in the Oval Office. Yes, America, the cup of leftist hypocrisy would runneth over – big time.
Yet – O launches “African Americans for Obama” – replete with its own logo, (O loves logos), and marching orders for blacks – and there is nary a whimper from the OMG.
The clearly racist program urges blacks to volunteer their time by making calls, organizing events and going door-to-door in black neighborhoods encouraging blacks to vote for O.
Not only is Obama blatantly playing the race card in a segregated attempt to rally blacks into working and voting for him;  he is also – once again – violating the separation between church and state. In the video promo for the campaign, Obama urges blacks to pressure black churches into supporting the Regime by spreading his message via “the faith community.” He also calls on black voters to become “congregation captains.”

Blacks need to start listening to people like Allen Keyes and realize how the Democrats dupe them for their votes. It's shameful.
And the support of pro-abortion and pro-gay candidates in ANY church should be condemned, regardless of that candidate's skin tone. But it's not.

Alan Keyes, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Allen West, J.C. Watts, Star Parker...all great Black Americans that I would vote for in a heartbeat. And I am a white, Christian, Conservative male from Giles County, home of the KKK.
I would never vote for a candidate because of their race, nor would I vote against them because of it. It should always be about ideas and policy. Obama is a Socialist at best, a Communist at worst. I would never vote for someone with his ideology...no matter what his race.

I too am a white Christian conservative who would also vote for any of these great black Americans. Skin tone shouldn't have anything to do with it, but the Obama camp has, in my opinion, not only played the class warfare card but the race card as well. It's just a shame that so many will blindly line up and vote for a man like that who will most likely go down in history as our worst president ever.

I don't care if he uses the race card. It just shows that they are the ones keeping racism alive. I think the white man let go of it all many years ago. I just laugh at the fact that it is all they have anymore. The truth is that most black people are content with being leaches.

Waaaa, waaaaa. There are all sorts of special groups who pull together to work for their candidate. Irish Americans, Latinos, Jewish groups, LGBT, Women, etc. So why go fear-baiting about an African American group? Oh, and by the way, you don't need to specially label Santorum supporters as "Whites for Santorum." It is amply clear from looking at any of his rallies. This is a non-issue except among those who fear the black person.

5:11 I would be glad to submit that this blog is not a source for potential trouble between the races anymore than a daily newspaper or tv news program. I would also submit that it is less a potential problem than an all black, all Spanish TV network.
Trying to hide problems has never been anything but a breeding ground for big and worse problems. Dr, Abernathy said, "Exposure is the greatest cure for racism". I believe that and it has been proven time and again. The content of a person's character not the color of their skin, said Dr. King, but today far too many seem more focused on color than character. Rep. Alan West is a man not because of his color but because of his character displayed in his discipline integrity. Pres. Obama is a childish thug not because of his color but because of his undisciplined dishonest character.

I guess it's time to once again re-state the simple fact that I do not pretend that my commentary is totally unbiased. All my life experiences have shaped me into whatever I am just as life experiences have shaped everyone else. There is no one who is totally unbiased. Opinions are the result of those biases and there is no way to totally separate oneself from all their life experiences, anyone who says they can just isn't being honest.
I try to report on events and actions in the main thread that allow everyone to make comments whether those comments are intelligent or stupid the hope is that they would at least be based in some sort of fact and the writer would present those facts in support of their comments. Unfortunately many make accusations and spread gossip with little or no concern for the truth or the available facts. Most of what is written on this blog I do not agree with or approve of, but do not feel it appropriate to censor others.
Thus I get blamed for those comments that are not fact based.
Some have even gone out of their way to personally attack me with the most vicious and libelous of charges all done under the cowardly cover of anonymous. The galling part of those attacks is that the one most consistent is the most hypocritical in accusing me of things he is most obviously involved in. Perhaps having a government job with nothing to do but write for the newspaper give privilege some certainly believe they deserve special privileges and claim them from every area of the government. I pity their blindness and arrogantly perverted attitude.

Look, you continue to miss a simple point. The ONLY reason I ever said I am a Christian gentleman is because barrett wanted proof that I am not an enabler of wrong. He told that lie, and the only proof I could offer is that I, as a Christian, would never willfully go along with wrong. That doesn't mean I'm not a sinner; we all are. I never claimed to be perfect.
Having said that, I would suggest that you be fair about it and question wab's Christianity when he calls people nasty names and creates strife. Ok?

2:35 I haven't been a long time reader of this blog but I haven't yet seen where Mr. Barrett has called anyone a nasty name.

He told that lie, and the only proof I could offer is that I, as a Christian, would never willfully go along with wrong".
If the "ONLY" proof you could give was that as a Christian you would never go along with wrongdoing" then you should be concerned.
I'm not trying to be hateful of annoying to you but there are many who call themselves Christians I think you may have even mentioned it before, who have no problem supporting abortions. In fact I have a friend who is a wonderful Christian has been for over forty years, very active in her church but she vote for democrats no matter what, I've even talked with her about the abortion issue and she just says that has nothing to do with being a democrat or church.

Then you have not been readiing this blog long at all if you have never seen barrett call people names.
Now, as for abortion, I just don't see how a Christian could vote for democratic candidates who are pro-abortion. Yes, we will be held accountable for that. And you are right; wearing the name of Christian doesn't necessarily make one a true follower of Christ.

As for the term "enabler", I will tell you again that it is a lie allen barrett started on me. When I denied it, and he wanted proof, I offered up what I believed to be my best argument that I would NEVER willfully be a part of wrongdoings. He just called me that name because I disagreed with some of his views. It's just that simple. It was offensive.

As far as you saying you are a Christian or anything you want to say you are proves nothing.

Any anonymous on this blog can say they are anything they want to but that don't prove a thing.
Prove by saying what Barrett said was wrong.
As for forgiveness, maybe you need to forget things that Barrett said a long time ago and doesn't say now. But you have to drag up the past.
I think you proveked Barrett to saying some things. didn't you say Terry Harwell was proveked so you know that can happen.

I think the topic of this thread was Obama playing the race card. If you disagree with Obama why not say something about that. Or do you find it more fun to say things against WAB?

You say I provoked barrett to say some things? Well, why can't you use that same line of reasoning when it comes to Terry Harwell.? Or do you just like to keep dragging that up?
As for Obama, I think he plays both the race card and the class warfare card as well.
Uh...I tyhink you need a handicapped permit to park in those handicapped parking spaces. If you choose to park there without a permit, I'm afraid your vehicle might get towed.
If you say you are a fireman, you can ride the fire truck if the fire department gives yoiu a job there. Otherwise, you are an unemployed fireman who cannot ride that truck.
If you say you are a policeman when you do not have the badge, you will be in serious trouble if you are caught trying to arrest people. I think that is called impersonating a police officer.

I posted a wish for everyone to have a Merry Christmas back in December, To the amazement of most posters the very first response was a very negative comment from good ole CG.
I even posted a topic with absolutely nothing on it and the very first comment was negative from from CG.

Do you or do you not consider yourself a Christian gentleman? If you do, why is it wrong to proclaim it? Why is claiming Christ not a good answer to a man who accuses you of an evil deed? Please explain.

To 8:02 Whether I am a Christian or not is not a topic on this blog nor is it an issue of debate by me. My actions prove what I am to those who are open minded enough and spiritually mature enough to see honestly. I will say I have never hidden behind religion to justify anything I could not prove with other evidences.
As for being a gentleman I have no formal training in such. There was little opportunity in the housing project or in the military to practice the art of "gentlemanly characteristics", instead I developed a character forged by integrity. Perhaps you should consider becoming less of a gentleman and more a man of integrity with a dependable character.

You developed a character forged by integrity? Oh please.
Lastly, you need no formal trianing to know how to treat other people right. Yopu should have learned that at home.

Wrong. I only made it an issue because barrett wanted proof that I don't willfully go along with wrongdoings. My proof didn't satisfy him and his one or two cheerleaders, yourself being one of them. I really don't have to prove anything to you guys anyhow. There's only One who will judge me.
As for calling names, I only called barrett a liar because he told a lie on me and refuses to admit that he was wrong. Look, if you guys will stop bringing this up, you can rest assured that I will not mention my beliefs again. I am prepared to let it go, but you just can't stop. As one of you so eloquently stated, I would almost bet the farm that you can't refrain from it.

To 10:03 I didn't delete the comment you refer to because I didn't choose too. Now, why did I choose not to delete it? Because I judged it no more inflammatory, no more obnoxious than most other comments. If I were to start deleting eveything that someone found offensive, obnoxious or inflammatory what would be left? Clearly as simple a statement as "Merry Christmas" is upsetting to some. My Granny couldn't bring herself to read some of the words in the Bible to us kids because they were considered "no no's"
While I try to monitor the blog for prohibited obscenities I will not censor it because I may disagree with the comment or find it personally objectionable.
I wish beyond hope that everyone would stay on topic and present their points with clarity and factual support but since I don't have a magic lamp and firmly believe in the 1st Amendment to the Constitution I must accept the fact that if we are to have a "free speech" forum we must protect that right, by not being censors.
If the comments are overly objectionable I suggest that you don't read them. No one will come to your house and force you to open the blog and read every word.

If you are going to complain about someone's grammar and try to embarrass them you should first make certain that you know what you are talking about.
The sentence you criticized, "Why would anyone try to discuss vocabulary with an illiterate jerk who is proud of their stupidity?" is a very sound one.

The word "their" is the possessive form of the pronoun "they" and is used as an adjective to modify the noun that follows it.

On the other hand the word "there" is an adverb that is used to indicate a place or location.

If you are going to act like the smartest person in the room you should make sure no one else is in that room.

8:49 I would disagree with your analysis of that sentence. When the writer said "with an illiterate jerk who is proud of their stupidity", the reference was intended for the illiterate jerk (his or her own stupidity). However, if the jerk was referencing someone else's stupidity, you would be right. But I do not think that was the case. Perhaps the one who posted that statement should have reworded it for clarity.
Thism is so asinine. Why don't you take a survey and report the results as to how people viewed the comment?

It is "my opinion" that there have already been some things said on here that would cause very serious problems had the one who posted been found out. And that person coulod be found out simply by a slip of the tongue to a friend, etc. This is very dangerous, and I am not convinced that the blogmaster would not be held accountable for what goes on here.
