Just What Is An Anal Buffoon?
More than a year ago, in a moment of frustration, I referred to a poster who was continually disrupting all opportunities for intellectual discourse with some of the most backward, absurd defenses of wrong behavior that could be imagined. They just said the same things over and over whining about how wonderful they were and how evil I was. After several days of this jerks disruptive behavior I referred to him as an "anal buffoon" which obviously they took as some kind of profanity. Even after I explained in a later post what the term mean and how i had intended it the person, I guess, was too embarrassed at his own ignorance that they continued to whine about ugliness of my comment.
Anal in addition to referring to the rectal area also describes the personality trait of overly controlling through meticulous behaviors. Buffoon refers to a ludicrous personage such as a clown. Basically what I did was call the person a "controlling clown". Apparently to this day the person continues to sting from this very accurate description.
I write this today in-order to set the record straight as the whiner has once again brought up the subject in a very negative way.

I'll tell you exactly why. People are becoming more and more aware of what a little group of unhappy people is trying to do in Giles County. They want power and are doing their very best to achieve it through any means they can. That's a fact and is no laughing matter.
It is my belief that they seek to get rid of any elected or appointed officials whom THEY deem unfit and are working hard to get "their people" into key positions in county government. Never mind the fact that the voters elect the ones they want.
Those who know what I am talking about must sound the alarm. It is my opinion that these people are devious and dangerous and should be watched closely. Sadly, they have gained some trction. One recent occurrence should make that painfully obvious if you are on your toes and doing your homework. I'll not mention the specific incident for the same reason I choose to remain anonymous.
I'm not trying to cause trouble here, but Giles Countians just need to be aware of how these people operate. Ruthless.

That's what the electoral process is all about. Vote people out who need to go. But it doesn't mean running around town calling our local and appointed officials names and making all kinds of accusations about them. There's a difference.

The present administration of the county has blown through over five million dollars of reserves during the past few years should that kind of irresponsible behavior be allowed to continue without questions and just wait until the next election to decide what to do?
The time for involvement is not just during an election but all the time. One can not be a responsible citizen by only voting every four years.
Now before you start your historical whine about calling people names and mistreating them let me say that very few have been more verbally abused and shown so little respect as I have with the denial of not only Constitutional rights but simply being treated the same as others in the room. I have been told by committee chairmen that I would not be allowed to ask any question yet others in the room were allowed to speak. I have been lied to and about by a number of officials, as recently as Tuesday, the questions I had submitted for the Financial Management Committee were not addressed. Instead the meeting began with a statement that my questions would not be read.
I have continued to act and speak respectfully to those who treatment with respect. Those who have denied me my civil, and Constitutional rights, lied to me and about me have been called out on the abuse and I certainly have called them names that identified their behavior. I have never attacked or criticized on a personal level.
This county is in a mess that will only get worse if people don't get involved and put a stop to the abuse,excess spending, lack of planning, and backward thinking.

I'm not sure exactly what you are talking about me posting and then it becoming anonymous. The reason I started posting with my picture is because someone posted using my name about a year or so ago. The last time I posted on this thread was at 11:51 AM.
The 12:10 post came next then came the 2:05 post followed by the claim at 2:13
From noon until about 1PM I am preparing lunch for my wonderful wife, spending lunch time with her (I don't take calls during that time either) then doing the dishes and cleaning up after she goes back to work.
At 2PM I left the house to pick up my grandson at school then went to a doctor's appointment I didn't return home until well after 4PM. During the time I was away I was seen and spoken to by several people.
Since the only posts made between mine at 11:51 and the first claim by anonymous 2:13 were the 12:10 a response to me then the 2:05 which was somewhat supportive of me should I understand that the 2:05 post is the one claimed to have been posted then changed?
Well let's pretend for a moment that I posted then somehow had the ability to change that post without leaving any signs of it being changed would it not have been almost instantaneous? Now, just suppose that everything the anonymous accuser said was true and they posted their claim at 2:13 almost ten minutes after the 2:05 post does anyone really think that no one else would have seen that original post? Does anyone really think that the accuser would have waited almost ten minutes before making their claim? Absurd. I have no clue who posted the 2:05 comment but I do know it was not me. I also know that I can only delete comments and have an automatic "comment deleted" to replace it.

This is my last words on the matter of the unknown post.
The best I can tell is I was accused of posting a comment with my name and picture on it then at sometime during the ten minute span between the post appearing and the post revealing what I was supposed to have done, it's claimed I removed the name and picture and replaced it with anonymous. In addition to this supposedly occurring I am also accused of posting against myself and also of being CG among other people.
I was told by some that the charge was too absurd to even respond to. I did respond and tried to explain how unreasonable and impossible the charge was.
The accuser posted that they have nothing in the way of proof other than their word that they saw it. I believe the charge is about as senseless as the one who made it.
It's interesting, at least to me, that this charge came just after I posted a rather scathing criticism about yet another of the accuser's
attacks.
Let me say with the clearest of terms the accuser is a liar and a coward. Not only did they make up the lie they don't have the simple integrity to stand by their libelous accusation. I posted the above post that has someone so up set. Does anyone see the word all in it? I put it there because i knew I was posting as anonymous.
I was identifying someone when I put cg. I thought he wanted to be referred to as a Christian and a Gentleman.
I saw WAB on the square one night before the election and like to have drove the person I went with crazy asking if that man was Stewart or Barrett because they had on shirts alike and I didn't know either one of them. I have heard of him and read this blog.
If you are a Christian and a gentleman, which I don't mind saying you are, but you need to get the chip off you shoulder. Everyone that writes cg isn't talking about your religion.
As for the spy you asked about, I'm sure it wasn't a spy that told me, could of come from a spy for all I know, but I figure it came through a lot of gossip before it got to my gossip party.
I hear about hackers on computers all the time and if anyone can send an email from me to my friends and to me they can copy WAB's way of emailing. Nothing was ever done about the one sent emails from me I didn't send. I was never told who did it only get a new email address.
Barrett wrote the post and then realized where he messed up and changed it to anonymous. It is as simple as that. I don't think anyone in the county would deny that Barrett is pitiful enough to do something like that and then lie about it. He got caught. You can look at the language he used in the post and tell it was him.

What is important is the cheerleaders (voices in Barrett's head) have changed the subject away from the fact that he posted and then changed it to anonymous. The tables have turned and Barrett is now the Enabler of Wrongdoing. No doubt about it folks. Being a pain in the ass will eventually catch up to you.

Anyone who frequents this blog will know I seldom agree with Mr.B, but he is correct about the comment substitution/alteration, as anyone who has ever modded a blog can tell you.
There would be evidence of a change, if it were nothing more than the time stamp advancing. To edit a post and leave no trace would require far more time than what was taken,which,according to the poster's own timeline, was 3 min."The first time I posted was at 2:13 and your picture and name still laid claim to the post. When I checked my post, yours had been changed and I posted at 2:16".
The faulty logic continues with a later post saying "You can look at the language he used in the post and tell it was him." Although B could have altered his style, that is nothing like he usually writes.

May I suggest a simple solution to all the animus held against me by the select few. Simply prove me wrong with some facts and not opinions. All the personal attacks against me mean nothing, are not intimidating nor mind changing. I am available for discussions with anyone so we can either sit down like mature adults and discuss our differences or you can continue to act like toddlers in adult bodies and whine, have tantrums and make unfounded accusations.
One thing that is rather interesting is how quickly some turn their support. I don't mean how one person can change their mind about a subject or be supportive of one thing while opposed to a different thing. What I mean is how quickly some turn against those they saw as allies when that person disagrees with them and they retaliate with personal attacks mostly of the infantile variety.
Here's a fact because you agree with someone or even defend their rights doesn't make you bosom buddies just as disagreeing doesn't make you mortal enemies. I have several friends even family members that I disagree with over almost everything but we're still friends mostly because we don't make our disagreements personal.
Disagreements backed by facts instead of only opinions create an opportunity for intellectual growth while kicking sand at each other because of personal feelings only reveals the fact we are still in the kindergarten sandbox.

Changing the subject but it has already. What about these out of town roofers and contracters from out of town or wherever. From checking last week most do NOT get licsence here and most have had trouble with the BBB. Just about all only follow the storms and rob innocent people,LOTS of the elderly. One from a company in Georgia came to my house and got their ladder off and was going on top of our house with out asking and I'm a renter. What gets me is that when I said I was a renter he said I could probably not have to pay for the inspection. he was told to leave then.Please call the police if they do this to you. Thanks

They do mostly call by phone. They called me a few months ago and demanded to my wife to give our credit card number. They called back to demand the same from me. When I refused the salesman was very rude and cursing. I got to thinking and went on line and sure enough the was many complaints. They took in over 6 million last year and only gave $38,0000 to policemen or police women. They have to be members to get even a little after his or her death. I was not aware that this scum can can call themseleves none profit and nothing can be done. There are several states that try to ban them and can't because they call themselves nonprofit. Check Police Protection Fund on the internet, They have offices all over the country so they can work that state. I called WSMV and they paid no attentionb but did do a story about 4 years ago. The person that answered the phone at the sheriff department just laughed about it. Watch out for roofers that are just as bad. They got on our house and did not ask, we live in a rental and the owner had already

The big problem is the lack of law enforcement in this area for this sort of thing. Please don't get me wrong about the county.They have always been great for other needs. I don't live in the city,but at work I called twice for drunk drivers and got no response. Over the last four years I done a little survey and
90% of city cops do not wear seat belts, 65% county does.
