Each year I get a copy of Sen. Coburn's "wastebook". In it is listed the worst examples of government spending during the past year.
These are the top ten from this year's "wastebook"

Who stole the computer and tires from the Emergency Management Office and why was that not made public?

Why was not the theft of equipment from the Emergency Management office made public? Was any one arrested, prosecuted or brought to trial? Was a warrant issued? Or, was the entire matter swept under the rug because Barry Whitt is a close friend of the Mrs. Vanzant?
By the way .... not bashing the Commission or County Executive; but why did they allow their 2010 budgets increase?
This had nothing to do with anyone in particular, and was not focused on Giles County, except to demonstrate how our tax dollars are spent. Now I have seen 2 posts against Mr. Barrett, and 1 post against Mrs Vanzant. You people are ridiculous. Why not discuss the real problem, Government overspending, and poor budgeting.

The only enabler I know of is the one who constantly promotes strife and discord in this county. I think he's just angry and has nothing better to do with his time. Aren't idle hands sometimes the devil's workshop?

I failed to address one of your comments. Although often accused of it, I am NOT the only one who posts in opposition to what barrett is doing. Furthermore, I do not make a deliberate effort to change any topic. But when he smarts off to someone or calls names, I refuse to sit idly by and let him get away with it.
I've checked the last number of days postings and not only couldn't find wher Barrett has called anyone names but found very few times he even wrote anything. On the other hand you
have called more names than anyone.
People have asked you time and time again to simply say why you don't think you are an enabler instead of just making the same old declaration that you don't like being called one. Barrett stated why he thought you were one and so far his are the only "reasons" that have been stated on either side of the issue.
Maybe if you gave more reasons for things instead of just complaining that you don't like them therefore they have to be wrong, evil, mean etc people would take you more seriously.
Please don't belittle yourself by coming back with the claim I must be Barrett because I haven't totally agreed with you, I also haven't fully agreed with Barrett either.

I too would like to know what happened to the case. That's why I posted at 10:53. Yes, there was considerable talk that Mr. McAlister was going to clean barrett's clock over this, but, for some reason, it seems to have gone away. I think a lot of people want to know why.
I am 2:16 and this was only my second post on this topic. My point is every time a new topic is posted, just read how they start out.
Yes, I oo kept sifting through the enabler's spewing of the mouth about how McAlister was going to sue, sue, sue. Wel, I guess this finally settles it. McAlister must not b as squeeky clean as the enabler tried to make him out to be.

I am the one the lie was told on that I somehow sanction or enable wrongdoings. That couldn't be further from the truth.
In all honesty, I don't see why I need to be identified this way or that. As for what to call me, I have, along with others who oppose what has been going on with this blog, been called a host of unsavory names, none of which accurately describe the person I am.
With the coming of this new year, I am hopeful that the hatred, jealousies, and name-calling will stop. That has consistently been my plea.
I hope the name calling and hatred will stop. Just remember it's going to take all of us to see that it stops.
