Giles Free Speech Zone

The purpose of the "Giles Free Speech Zone" is to identify problems of concern to the people of Giles County, to discuss them in a gentlemanly and civil manner, while referring to the facts and giving evidence to back up whatever claims are made, making logical arguments that avoid any use of fallacy, and, hopefully, to come together in agreement, and find a positive solution to the problem at hand. I heard Miss Perkins speech at the School Board Meeting in February. She has a definite gift with words. Her speech was encouraging, for me personally, that we have agood generation coming up who are aware of the problems ahead. Miss Perkins and her speech received a standing ovation.

8:51 Dont be discouraged. Its likely most people did not hear Lindsey speak or even know her. Maybe you can let her friends and family know about this topic and they could add their congratulations.

I also heard Ms Perkins speak at the school bd meeting, and she did an outstanding job. When I see teenagers like that it makes me think there is hope for us after all. I would love for her to give her speech to the full county commission. That group could learn from her.
