Wastewater Treatment at the Highway 64/ Interstate 65 junction

This morning in the Budget Meeting what could become the most important investment to be made by the County in the past fifty years was discussed.
With the installation of a wastewater treatment facility at the I-65 junction with Hwy 64 two very strong business opportunities await.
Pilot Refueling station is looking to be in business by 2013 and Capitol Brands Distillery is ready to start groundbreaking on their 17 million dollar investment including a 150,000 square foot facility that will need approximately 120 employees. They estimate their facility, much like the Jack Daniels Distillery will be a tourist destination with about 125,000 visitors stopping and shopping each year, Jack Daniels has about 300,000 visitors a year.

The cost to the county will be minimal. A vote will be taken by the commission to issue bonds up to 4 million dollars to build the wastewater treatment facility, an Activated Growth System capable of treating 50,000 gallons a day. Pat of the four million will be used for other projects the county hopes to develop.

Sounds promising to me. But I'd sure like to know what the other "projects" the county is wanting to spend this money on first.

Why was the wastewater taken off the agenda for the commissioners meeting Monday. WKSR reported it like it was nothing yet Barrett reported it as if the county mayor didn't take time to ask questions in the budget meeting.
I wasn't at either meeting so I'm just asking not making any claims.

In my honest opinion, it's because he (barrrett) resents and despises Mrs. Vanzant so much that he will do or say anything to belittle or discredit her. I've never seen anything like it. Looks like he would be praying for and trying to convert her if he thinks she is such a bad person? Again, my opinion.

So you think Vanzant needs a religious conversion 6:40.
What difference does Barrett's feelings about Vanzant have to do with her withdrawal of the wastewater funding vote? Does Barrett have that kind of power I thought you have said he was powerless?

Did I say that I thought Mrs. Vanzant needs converting? No. Please go back and read my post again. Now don't ask me if I think barrett needs converting unless you are prepared to hear my opinion on that.
I never said barrett had any power either. In fact, he is politically impotent, and I don't see that changing...at least not in Giles County.

6:40 There you go again, popping off but not answering 8:23's question of "Why was the waste water taken off the agenda for the commissioners meeting Monday."

Oh I know your answer because you don't know anything, "Go ask Mrs Vanzant if you want to know?"

I thought this blog was for questions and answers.
