Seems Commissioner Terry Harwell in a moment of sexual confusion, overwhelming hunger or an attitude of "I'm a commissioner what you gonna do about it" attended the Professional Women's Luncheon at First National Bank today.
While distinguished businessmen of the community served lunch to the ladies in appreciation of all their hard work, there in the midst sat ole Terry, one "male" among all those ladies. The amazing thing seems to be that he seemed to fit in so well, could it have been from the years and years of intense training under the hand of a certain councilwoman?

Barrett has his days where he plays the role of the biggest idiot in the county and todays posts are a direct reflection of that. At first it makes you angry, then you realize that someone with such a history of loss and disappointment will go to great lengths to further ruin any decency they may have had in hopes it will make others look bad.
When have you helped Giles County, Barrett? I can't recall one positive message or story that involved you. You know, other than you tooting your own horn. Here's what I think (my opinion). I believe all this not getting his way and being politically impotent have made Allen Barrett to act as he does. In other words, I truly think he has lost his mind. I agree with most of your post. I believe most county officials despise Allen Barrett because they know he is constantly on the attack and trying to either humiliate or ruin someone. Now you ask about working with others for the good of the county, well that is exactly what has been done. People have joined together to work for the betterment of the county and change the behavior of some who have misused and abused their positions. Part of the problem is you and some like you see no problem in officials acting outside the law, giving preference to friends and family, overlooking conflicts of interest and treating citizens unequally, etc.
Is it trouble making when you clean out a rat nest, of course it's trouble for the rats, but it has to be done for the betterment of people.
You see, you define “troublemakers” as anyone who disagrees with you or those in control and as such without “troublemakers” there could have been no Christianity, no advances in anything, no US of A.

I am less concerned about your pig headed opinions as I am about what Charles Watson had for supper on January 17, 1861. I do take exception to your false accusation that I "scoffed at your being a Christian. While I may question a persons actions as being Christ like I have never and would never deny or scoff at a person's claim of being a Christian and I challenge you to show one single time where I ever even questioned your Christianity. You guys claim responsibility for bringing "problems" to our attention, but most of us were aware of them anyway. And beating select officials over the head, calling them nasty names, and trying to ruin them in the community is simply low-down mean and wrong. Besides, who appointed you guys to be our watchdogs anyhow? Now that you have enlightened usm why don't you take a break and try to get along with people?

Lastly, I take issue with your calling me names. As for enabler, "we" have been over and over this many times. The thing is you guys are aware but do nothing. In fact from your posts you support the actions of the ones who abuse their position. The ones that cause the problems will do nothing but cover them up. Look at the time cards that were doctored a year after the fact to justify paying overtime to salaried employees. The fact is our local governments will do nothing with out getting beat over the head and their actions exposed to the public.
