Giles Free Speech Zone

The purpose of the "Giles Free Speech Zone" is to identify problems of concern to the people of Giles County, to discuss them in a gentlemanly and civil manner, while referring to the facts and giving evidence to back up whatever claims are made, making logical arguments that avoid any use of fallacy, and, hopefully, to come together in agreement, and find a positive solution to the problem at hand. Opportunity knocks!

The "Giles Two Cents Worth" blog is still up. (For how long, nobody but Penny Thoughts knows.) NOW is the time to copy your best remarks from Penny's site to this one. Once the old site goes down, it will likely be gone for good. So the time to act, is now...

Anyone who wants an appropriate topic posted, before doing the copy and paste job of migrating their comments, need only e-mail me with a request for a topic. But hurry!

In response to anonymous who stated, "maybe someone needs to be elected that knows how to run the place." Do you realize how hard it is to find a relative that can actually meet the qualifications of some of these city and county jobs?

Oh...here we go again. We can't find enough locals smart enough to meet the qualifications for city and county jobs! This is deplorable. Perhaps smarter people from other areas of the country should be encouraged to move here and run things "properly" for us!
