Blogmaster Request: Please Pray For My Mother
She's been going downhill lately, which is the main reason I've been ignoring the blog recently. And now she's in the ICU at Hillside. My mother (Eleanor McPeters) is suffering from both congestive heart failure and anemia, which is a real problem, in that what treats anemia (blood transfusions) makes congestive heart failure worse. So, please take a moment from your day, and say a prayer asking for her healing. I'd really appreciate it if you do! Thanks.

May the spirit of God touch you and your mother to provide understanding and comfort in your time of suffering & need. Your request reflects a true gift from God in your relationship with your mother.
Kendrick....
So sorry to hear about this. But you know, God loves us all, and I am hopeful and truly believe He can work a miracle in her life. Take care.
Thank you all for the wonderfully thoughtful comments. And a special thanks to Allen Barrett, who visited my mother in the ICU and led a prayer with my family. Funny thing is, about two hours after Mr. Barrett's prayer, my mother woke up and recovered her ability to speak intelligbly. That's pretty fast service from God, isn't it?
Once again, thanks to all.
Happy to hear your mother is better.
Prayers lift up indeed!
I know how it hurts to have a sick parent. good thoughts go to you and Annelle.
Sorry to be so late with this update, but, everyone should know that my mother got much better and checked out of the hospital, in the middle of last week. She's still a little weak from being bedridden, but she seems to be getting better every day.
Many, many thanks for all the prayers and kind comments! It was all very much appreciated, believe me.
How is your mother doing? Well I hope!
Sorry I'm just getting around to posting this... but she's doing very well. She won't be competing in the Olympics any time soon, but she also shouldn't be checking in to the funeral home, either. Really, considering all that's wrong with her, she's doing about as well as can be expected. Her morale is pretty high, as well, and she (and I) truly appreciate all the prayers and kind thoughts.
Thanks for asking.
