New Attorney For Giles County
At the November County Commission Meeting this morning Ms Lucy Henson was appointed as the new County Attorney. This appointment will stand until the July meeting when consideration will be given for permanent appointment.

Permanent appointment? Is that within the law? We need to get this position as an elected one.
Yay! I like her! Such a nice lady.
When the words hateful B---- was created Lucy Henson was the model. She gives lawyers a bad name.
OK, comment #1-why are you worried about her being permanently appointed? It isn't like you could do the job, so don't worry about it!
Comment #2-You are absolutely right, Mrs. Henson is an absolute perfect example of how a lady should be defined, and such a perfect pick for the county to be represented by.
Comment #3-You apparently lost in court to her once, didn't you? Get a life and don't insult her unless you can give examples of why you call her those names, you loser.

She will need to to be a __itch to work for a _itch, like Vanzant. You never know someone until you work with or for them.
And before anyone has a comment on Janet Vanzant, go to someone that has worked with her or for her, and ask what kind of person she is before you comment on Vanvant. Go Janet, back to Lincoln County that is!!!

Well, at least now I know what Janet Vanzant's problem is...she is from Lincoln County. Those people are inbred, man. They are like 2 generations behind everyone else in the evolutionary department.

Everyone has there opinions but just to let you know i think she is an awsome damn lawyer and too bad you don't have the guts to be her!
Don't care what she looks like, smells like, acts like. Don't care if she gives lawyers a bad name or is sweeter than honey. Just hope she has the integrity to follow the law and not be bullied by Vanzant.
Have we ever had a county attorney that didnt interpret the law to suit the county executive and the county commissioners? Would be great if we had a change from the status quo.
So, are all the county attornies past and present just as crooked as those you dislike who hold public office? Horsehockey.
All of you need to grow up!! You have to give Ms. Henson a chance she could be the best thing that has ever happened to Giles County... Cause as you can see Mr. Speer could not hang with it....
