In the absence of having to pay Mr. Jackson his $97,000+ salary, maybe we can rehire the Spanish and Chemistry teachers at Richland High School that were let go.

Attention GC school board members - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen carefully to the grievance being filed by the teacher (this was postponed at today's mtg) There are many people that are afraid to speak up about this matter and it needs to be taken VERY seriously!! This would not be tolerated at any other company or business so it should not be happening in our school system. It has been a problem for many years at this specific school.

Let's see who else might be added to the list besides Mrs. Vanzant and Bill Holt. How about ALL of the Seventh District commissioners, Barry Hyatt, Roy Griggs, Roger Strickland, Roger Reedy, Lucy Henson, Terry Harwell, and the ENTIRE election commission with the exception of Annelle Guthrie.
There are many others, but it's a bit early for a brainstorming session.

"Surely" you do understand that the problems Giles County face right now are not due to inflation and poor economics. This mess is due to mismanagement of finance. Over the whole county system. Did not mean to put it all on Tee..no hate..my post just meant that he is smart to get out of it "because" there is going to be lawsuits..not that he is solely responsible for them. Sorry if you misunderstood.

The problem with the Giles County School System is there is no true 21st Century LEADERSHIP!!! The key to a good system is support and service. Until Giles County teachers are treated as the professionals they truly are, instead of the scum of the earth, you people will never have a successful system. It was never the intention to have Central Offices use the BIG BROTHER APPROACH to supporting educators. No one has a clue on how to give support for success in Giles County. In turn, all you have is mediocrity. Stand up PEOPLE AND DEMAND COMPLETE REVAMPING OF YOUR SCHOOL SYSTEM!

Well if they would have hired Ron Shirey for Director of Schools a few years ago over Jackson things might be different now. The mans got the education, he's got the finance experience, and common sense to get out of the rain. Plus he is a fair person that is there for the kids of our community and not his pockets. Yep, just sayin. He should have had the job in the first place.

Ron Shirey would make a "great" Director of Schools but I think he is smart enough to not accept it. He has the heart and the drive but not going to have the money. Just like the Finance Director...will take a "miracle" to fix problems created by county officials and commissioners!! I wish the people that accept these positions good luck..lots of headaches ahead.

The miracle is that the County Executive, The County Commission and the County School Board all will finally realize that screwing taxpayers to continue throwing money towards friends and relatives is not the abswer.

Giles County has to have the courage to hire a Financial Management Director who has the guts to say NO!! to wasteful spending; and the County Executive and Commisiion will have to backup that person.

The County School Board will have to have the courage to hire a Director who will encourage and support all our teachers. Hold the teachers accountable and give them the tools and support to achieve greatness.

All of this could have been stop if only the Home Rule (Charter) would have passed. Now I don't think that the County Executive will hire anyone that will help the county. Here's hoping the board will have enough since to stay in county. See what we got with Chicken Little and now with Tee Jackson. This board has set up and let him dig the biggest hole that will take a while to get out of. Who ever comes in will be like Clinton cleaning up after the Bush's. Ron Shirey is a great guy on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and a complete jerk on Tues, Thursday. One thing about Shirey is you get plenty of Shirey personalities. And Debbie Braden was trained by Jackson and will be just like him. Mike Gonzales and Bill Holt have dug holes and We need Sam T back or Allen Parker. Unfortunately Tee managed to get 10 years of service to add to his 25 years in Al. So he will have a great chunk of change each month. But Tee did't go down without his cronies going to board members and pleading his case. Of all people Kyle Helton and Jimmy Alsup went out asking board members to keep him. And who else did he send out. Poor pathetic fool. GOOD BYE

9:18 You are stupid if you think that it would be ok for a 5 year old to walk 2 miles to school. I don't think that the school buses need to stop at every child's house. When I was going to school buses only ran on the main roads. Everyone had to catch the bus at the end of the street. About the sports, do you want it taken away cause you did not get to play when you was in school. Our kids like to play. Besides we the parents still have to pay a lot of the sports that our kids play.

I totally agree that Bill Holt and Mike Gonzales should be gone also. They both are two idiots. Neither one of them know how to act in public and how to treat their students and teachers with respect they deserve. Gonzales thinks he is better than anyone else. He makes the students call him Dr. Gonzales and that is stupid. With Tee, Bill and Mike out of the picture then we can hire the teachers back. Our children are the future and they deserve a great education.

There were rumors that Dr. Gonzales was to be a principal until Jackson was ready to leave and then he would step up, Guess it must be time for Dr. G. to move on up to the big time.

But from what I have heard I would say the Dr. G. is the last thing the county needs at the present time.

Has Gonzales had enough training to make superintendent. Guarantee that he will stirr everything up for the whole county if he makes it. He certainly has made a big uproar at Elkton.

Teachers having to add so much to their lesson planning time that they really had no time to do planning for most of the children. That the teachers had no time to really plan for their classes, and do not have time to cover everything that he thinks has to be covered.

He could do this at every school in the county. Hope that those teachers can handle the stress he adds to an already extremely stressful proffession.

Our most sucessful superintendants have been the ones who came up through our teaching ranks, not those who have been brought in here by misled citizens and school boards.

The new evaluation system is state-mandated, not local. It is of course, an asinine way to evaluation professionals and as far as I can tell, no teacher actually had input into the reform. They were allowed to give lip service, just as with the calendar committee, principal at SES and so many other instances, but anyone can tell, all decisions are made far in advance of gathering teacher or public information or opinions. Here's an idea, doctors are evaluated by other doctors and are held to a high standard, lawyers are monitored and evaluated by other lawyers and from what I understand, going before the bar is no cake walk. You really think teachers are professionals. Then treat them that way, let them form a teacher discipline committee or eval committee or something similar. These ridiculous evals need not be so time consuming if ANYONE with authority in education had any common sense. Drop in on the teacher unannounced. Have a set of teaching practices the teacher should be utilizing, conference afterward for ways to improve or explain things the evaluator could not see during allotted time. STOP allowing students to evaluate teachers. Test scores are meaningless. Kids know it affects the teacher. Do you think some of them care if they pass or fail as long as they can make the teacher look bad? High stress level, fear, test anxiety, stress, subject matter introduced but not actually taught, did I mention stress, illness of student or loved one. Unless you have a robot for a child sooner or later, one or more of these factors will help determine if a teacher (who may not even have your child in class), gets to keep his or her job. Great job state department. Principals do have some leeway to make things somewhat easier and therefore practical without compromising the results. some chose to do that, others chose to make their teachers miserable, but it was a choice. Support your staff or beat them down. Every single principle made that decision last year. If they can live with it, the teachers have to also live with it. But more importantly, the most dedicated and talented teachers aren't going to take this type of treatment. The state department has taken away the "calling" to be a teacher and made it an assembly line job. So very sad for everybody!

First, I do not have any kid at Elkton, so I do not have any first hand knowledge of the day to day operations of Dr. Gonzales. But kids should call him "Dr." because he has earned that degree which allows him to be called "Dr." instead of "Mr.". And I want my children to respect adults in authority positions especially. So I think it is appropriate he makes the kids call him "Dr."

Second, please check the test scores of the county. I think I'm correct in stating Elkton's scores out performed the rest of the county by a large scale.

Everyone on here claims that this county needs "change" and getting rid of the good old boys that have been here forever. And when someone new comes in (e.i. Dr. Gonzales as a principal), then those same people gripe because now things have changed. You can't have it both ways. Either you want this county to change which means "things will change!" Or you want it to stay the same which means "nothing will change". Make up your minds!!!

-Mack

Mr. Gonzales may have the doctor title, but he doesn't have the experience. He has not taught. He became principal after his plant life and did that in Maury County.
When you talk about test scores and comparing schools, you are really talking apples and oranges. When one school does not have the sub group as another school, it is not the same criteria for evaluating those schools. Just to say, it is more to it than just looking at scores.

So true about the dedicated and talented teachers who definitely do not want to be part of an assembly line---with no time to really reach out to a child who needs extra time to help them through problems in the their life that affect their school work. Can't do that and complete today's plan, it will have to be someome else who listens to this child.

I agree with Mack. Out of respect the kids do need to call him Dr. Gonzales. We also need good change in the Giles County School Systems. There should have been no reason to lay off that many teachers here. I say there is a real problem. Tee Jackson did and does not deserve to have been paid what he is getting. Most of the people on the hill should not be getting what they make. First off they remind me of Washington DC, to many Chiefs and not enough Indians. I have called to talk to Tee Jackson and when you ask for him you get to talk to the Assistant. I did not call to talk to her or I would have asked for her. I would like to know why the other schools can't survive with one principal? Elkton and Minor Hill School only has one pricipal and they are doing great. Cutting out some of the principals jobs could help put our teachers back to work? Also, some schools have more than one PE teacher. I know the one at PES leaves school just about everyday early to attend football practice at the high school. The cuts should have been made where they was needed and not in the class room.

Elkton's scores were there before Dr. Gonzo. Bob Polly had those scores but Mike got credit. I hope the board does there home work on finding a new director. Do they really and truly know why Dr. Webb is in Giles County. I do. Mike has short man syndrome, Bill Holt is a womanizer and should feel right at home on the hill. Ron Shirey has multible personalities and let's hope they hire someone they owe something. The director will need to be someone that will make teachers want to come do there job and enjoy. Every principal needs to have to reapply for their jobs. That way some weeding out could be done.

You know, it's one thing to have some dirt on sombody, but it's pretty low-down to broadcast it. What you said about Bill Holt is totally mean-spirited and evil. This is just an example of why you and the other troublemakers are so hated in this cvounty. But you mistakenly think your being despised is because you are upsetting some good old boy system. How naive and arrogant can anyone be to think that the ordinary working man out here appreciates what you are doing. Some may, but the vast majority does not like troublemaking. You need to think about that.
You people want to be a part of the solution? You want things "better" for Giles County? Then why don't you stop throwing stones and grab a hammer and help build rather than tear down?

Several points:

Dr. G does not have the leadership skills to be principal, much less director of schools. He knows allot about what the book says accordning to education. However, he cannot implement any of it.

Mack, you need to learn the facts prior to commenting about scores at Elkton. Mr. Polly stated 3 years ago that it would take until the 3rd year of the new standards to show results. Dr. G's first year at Elkton was the third year. Is anyone giving Mr. Polly credit for the system and people he put in place to get to this point? Results will not be maintained over time because of a lack of leadership at Elkton.

Calling someone who has achieved the dr. degree is appropreiate and professional. So is calling teachers by their last name. Calling teachers by their first name is unprofessional and has been done numerous times in front of kids.

Whether Dr. G. will ever gain the leadership skills needed to be a principal, time will tell. However, leaders are usually born and individuals without the skills do not gain them at such an old age. However, leaders usually care about those around them and the community their serve. Dr. G. does neither. You dont run off the people who support your school. You do not cover up teachers abusing and mistreating children. He has done both. Also, you create an environment that promotes hormony and order. He has done neither.

It is amazing how stupid some on the school board are. They stated that the letters received by board members could not be acted upon because they were not signed. DUH!!! They were not meant to be acted upon; there intent was to get the school board to investigate and come to their own conclusions. No one expected Dr. G to be fired because of a letter. But a reasonable person would conclude that if so many people are complaining, that maybe they should investigagte. Investigate does not mean to send the same croneys that helped to create to problem into the school to look around. The right people were never questioned. The people who were asked questions were generally his eyes in the school and those with personal relationships with him and his family members.

As I said in an earlier post, if as much effort was put into building relationships as was put in trying to destroy one's character, this would be a great community. I have lived here all my life and have never seen so much jealousy, animosity and cruelty at fellow neighbors.
The anonymity of the post here also contribute to what has become a bull's eye for anyone in a leadership position, i.e., from county executive to courthouse custodians. No one and nothing seems to be without criticism.
Lets wait and see how the board decides on someone to replace Mr. Jackson. Give the process a chance. There AREqualified people who can do it here in the county. But with all the criticism, who would want to take the job?

The TCAP test don't mean anything. Since the results -- until very recently -- affected only the school and the teacher, the majority of class time was spent teaching the test.

I'm all for achievement tests, but it doesn't seem that accurate benchmarks can be achieved this way. The tests should be administered while teaching a normal curriculum. The child either has a grasp of the material, or they may need extra help.

Just because you can pass a test doesn't mean you have mastered the subject.

You are SO right.
Do those who see that bullseye on the backs of certain elected officials all the way down to the custodians even realize why they feel such hatred and jealousy?
Do those who are constantly on the attack really want to be part of the solution? Are they really interested in the betterment of our county and not in self-promotion? If so, I would urge them to grab a hammer and help build our wonderful county instead of constantly trying to tear it down. Why can't they just give up on all this hate and resentment and try to wortk together with the officials we have? If they are unsatisfactory, vote them out.
Love can build a bridge. Don't you think it's time? Tell those who hate to take a hike.

In regards to hypocrisy, hatred, bigotry and enabling you lead by example so feel free to speak as an authority on that subject all day. As it goes every citizen is not into enabling wrong doing like you are. It would help if you work on showing love yourself before you start trying to preach to others.

GTC Says:

Whether or not any of us are nearing the end of our mortal stay on this 3rd rock from the sun is frankly irrelevant in view of the whole picture of life, religion or the universe. What really matters is how we conduct ourselves that matters. Allen Barrett has the propensity to bring up and publish news articles, facts, comments that are painful to some. To others his posting are downright deceitful and he should be stopped. Well this is a free speech society. If you can’t stand what WAB is posting then ignore this blog or present facts to support your opposing position. Personal attacks only show that the person posting has no other recourse and cannot provide opposing facts to counter what WAB is stating.

GOD not us will be the final judge. Get over that fact; and none of us have a say in that matter.

Giles County has existed for many years under the cloud of “the good old boy club” that appreciates many of the citizens in Giles County are totally apathetic and will not publicly, or even privately, take a stand, controversial or not, on any issue. However, history has taught us that when the cloud of secrecy is lifted and public officials are forced to be open and responsible to the constituents changes are then made. Is WAB making a difference? I believe so in that he is forcing many of us to acknowledge that changes need to be made and that “this is the way we have always done it” no longer can be tolerated.

I do not agree, time and again, with WAB’s way of presenting his viewpoint. I would prefer that he present an issue without an editorial comment in the initial posting. He should present facts without his personal opinion and allow others to debate his posting before he wades in with his personal opinion

Why hasn't alternative's to laying off teachers been addressed? How about coaching stiends? Should those payments be removed prior to laying off teachers. After all, isnt this a school, not a sports program. Has anyone throught about a 4 day school week. Go to 5 Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and then til 4 on Thursday. How much would you save with the buses not running that 1 extra day a week??? The teachers pay would remain the same because they would be working the same number of hours.

How about going without a Director of schools and allow Ms. Braden to handle it for a while. That would save $100,000. Or do alway with Ms. Braden's job as assistant director and just have a director.

Has anyone with financial planning knowledge been asked to look at the situation and find ways to cut?

How about players providing their own transportation to all away games? There are enough parents going to where a bus does not have to be used. Same for Cheerleaders and Band.

Has anyone looked at combining schools and school resources? We have a k-2 school and a 3-5 school. I hope there is not a principal on the payrole for both schools. How about a secreatary for both schools? Not to mention heating and cooling for 2 schools when they could be combined into one.

Just some ideas. I dont hear anyone else making suggestions or throwing ideas out for discussion. I all hear is people using an anonymous format to point fingers and call names.

Why has a listing of the names and qualifications of the applicants for finance director not been posted to this blog?

Tuesday, August 14, 2012 4:24:00 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

The simple reason is: The County Executive and her boys on the Finance Committee do not:

1)Want everyone know what the "qualifications" are for the position. By the way the qualifications are a joke.

2) Want anyone to know who has applied for the job and what those individuals' qualifications are.

WHY? because they have made up their collective minds that they KNOW who they will hire and the selection process is a scam.

Whether or not she wants the position Beth will be offered the Director's position and then it will be up to her to decide whether or not she wants it. For her own wellbeing I hope she refuses the position and forces the County Executive, Tommy Campbell, Tommy Pollard, Tommy Pope, Tee Jackson, Barry Hyatt to select a truely qualified person who has the gutts to say NO! to wastefull spending.

The names of applicants are being kept by the County Executive and Chairman Campbell. The reason given by both is that they must be kept secret to protect the applicants current employer from knowing they have applied for the job. I believe they are being withheld from the public in order to prevent any background information from being available Thursday at the interviews.

4:07 This is a free speech forum and while individuals are expected to write responsibly that isn't always true, but because a few can not act responsibly does not mean everyone else should be penalized. There are far too many instances where a majority is punished for the acts of a minority.
The other thing is that some seek to shut down the blog simply because they dislike the fact others are afforded a say on different topics.

4:15 I wouldn't bet against that with someone else's money. Commissioner Campbell is far to supportive of Ms. Moore to be objective and has already made comments that lend themselves to her being appointed.

13 Aug. 7:37 I certainly appreciate you not "attacking" me if your post was an example of not attacking I fear my death, you seem to seek, would have been eminent.
Sorry that you feel bad for me, I didn't seek your feelings bad or good. As for the trouble and nasty things I would certainly appreciate some examples where I did either without justification.
As for being worried where I go after this life I have it on absolute authority that I will be going to Heaven. I suggest you put your faith in and accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and you can also have that assurance and not have to be worried where you go after death.
As for changing my ways because I'm getting older that would be more along your hypocritical ways, I change my ways based on the right and wrong of the behavior and so far God has not revealed a need for me to change, but thanks for the ill conceived advice anyway.

The only reason he wants her is that she will be another Loretta Garner and he can tell her what to do. I'm not sure she even is a CPA. The last I heard she was "working" on that degree. We don't need someone in that position that can't help the county. Trust me, we've been down that road before. You know only the ones who posted defamatory comments would be subpoenaed. The only one that can get a subpoena is one who has been defamed. I really want some one to try to get the blog shut down. That is hilarious especially if they have ever posted on here before. I think any Federal Judge will back the Constitution and it is more important to allow freedom of speech as opposed to having it censored by a few who might have their feelings hurt by a few who post on the blog.

We better keep an eye on our tax money that is probably being used for legal research in this area at this time. But as I have done a lot of in legal library research on the subject and have plenty of rulings that helped to set the precedent I will be happy to share all info I have already researched to keep this blog open.

If I am wrong I will open up a new blog with a very similar name and ask Barrett to moderate it. I hear another one is being worked on at the present and the posts are being copied from this one in case something unconstitutional were to happen and the blog was suspended for any reason.

What a laugh, that someone would actually try to legally shut down an "opinion" and statement of facts blog...yeah I see another string of them being opened--whats next? A hush order for standing out on the square and talking about what and who is doing what? Too funny. The only reason there is sooo much "trouble" with this is that a few dont' want the dirty laundry aired out after they do so much to keep thing quiet. Also--someone is "worried" about someone getting hurt because of a perceived threat---well how about just not tuning in and posting if you hate whats here so bad. Some of us just want an idea of whats going on around here....the "problems" are the ones who sling their crap and inject opinion to a subject--too often miles from the subject anyway, so why bother. Heck whenever Obama comes on the TV--my TV changes...why cant you change your blog "favorites" if you don't like it? Even if we were wrong, discussion could be focused on that "wrong" subject and you could just be content with the knowlege that someone was discussing something and be totally wrong--my guess it's just too close to the truth and some cant stand it, Oh well.

Maybe if you are so unhappy with post like 7:19's you should move!

Sounds like 7:33 is a county employee. You've got it made like it is now, don't you. And still think people who don't agree with our government spending should just move. Laughable!

to Sunday, August 12, 2012 11:31:00 AM and others. Mr Polly filled the shoes of one of the best Principals in Giles County and he filled them well. I know of only two people who expressed their opion that they wanted Mr. Polly
"gone" as you put it.
Mr Polly and his faculty agonized over student gains and how to improve them as a group with no one as dictator. Perhaps continued analysis by teachers would help studentt scores improve rather than forcing teachers into a mold.

Would the things said about WAB not be slanderous?
cg has got where he likes to say "cheif trouble maker is." We know what he means. I don't think WAB would do anything unless he or someone else is sued, then he would sue, I hope.

Now what has all this post and most of the othe post got to do with the topic of this thread?

Got a puzzle for you to figure out. If the county gets a financial Management position and someone is hired NS then leaves. Taht person has a temporary replacement. Another part of the puzzle is that when FM comes in to play each elected official that has a budget sends someone from there office to keep up with their budget. Now back to part one, the person that is doing interim finally applied for the FM position. Today were interviews of three people one being the interim person. Would rank about third in interview. But the main thing is her position has already been filled by the Director of Schools, Tee Jackson, who is on the selection committee. Does he know something the other member don't know. So can someone please figure out the puzzle as to why a position is filled that isn't empty yet. And don't say because three positions are open. If that is the case there should be an ad in the paper. Tee can't do that on his own. Come on Sept. 30.

Thursday, August 16, 2012 11:02:00 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

11:02 Why do you think Tee can't do that, it's small potatoes compared to some of the things he has pulled. Remember when he sent Moore to Financial Management from the school system after giving her a $4000.00
pay increase that the county not the school system had to pat. That increase was allowed by the finance board because she was about to get her CPA, Jackson also voted on her keeping that raise as a finance board member. By the way she still does not have a CPA.

That pay raise costs more that publishing the charter in the local newspaper. And, that rais has to be paid year after year, after year, after year .......

Yea the defeated charter really cost Giles County LOTS of money.

Yep, Beth is gonna get it because they interviewed for 15 or 20 minutes and are making a decision from those short interviews. Since the only one they know anything about is Beth it would not take a rocket scientist to figure out she is it.

Mr. Forrester don't get too upset, this isn't a real blog. These aren't even real people. Only the failed financial situation of Giles County is real. This simply a place where people can blow off steam, call each other names, start rumors, anonymously, of course.

So remember this blog is for entertainment purposes only, real people who are supposed to be adults don't act this way unless they are childish.

For those of you who consider themselves to be Christian adults, how do you justify your words in this blog in regards to St. Paul's 1st letter to the Corinthians 11:13

"When I was a child, I spoke like a child, thought like a child, and reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up my childish ways."

You forgot the self elevating hypocrites such as yourself and Forrester. I find your two holier than thou attitudes amusing and hypocritical, but that does seem to be the pattern for you. You have the better than thou attitude but are too stupid to realize what hypocrites you are when you do the very things in your posts you bitch and complain others do. If you hate this blog so much then do not add to the very things you claim to find so appalling. What does it say about you since you hate this blog so much but are on here more than any one but contribute nothing but the very things mirroring that of which you complain. Be the example but we know that will never happen in your case as you love to enable wrongful behavior. Isn't that right anonymous 11:31 and Forrester.

GCHS Student Charged After "Cutting" Incident At School
Posted on August 18, 2012

A Giles County High School student was taken into police custody after a cutting incident.

According to a statement by the Director of Schools, two 15 year-old students got into an altercation after one spilled milk on the other during lunch time. The unnamed student responded to the spill by pulling out a pocket knife and cutting the unidentified victim on the arm.

The victim was treated by the school nurse before being taken to a local medical center by parents.

The suspect was charged with a delinquent act of aggravated assault and suspended from school. Pulaski authorities are investigating the incident. From WAAY.com

The day before the boy that spilled the milk put some berries in the cutters seat and ruined his white shorts and made remarks about what was on his pants. But can't Mr. Barrett please quit allowing postings on a blog if they dont' pertain to the subject. He needs to start a new one about Financial Management.

I neither "bitched" nor "complained". I simply stated an observation that this blog is a place where "adults" like to come in and can blow off steam, call each other names, start rumors, and act like children.

I made a statement of what I have observed in here and did not make any statement elevating myself above anybody. You said that. In fact, based on what you said in you second sentence you agree with me.I have found that this blog basically servers a mechanism to blow off steam and pitch a fit. Think of it kind of like a padded cell. So let's laugh at all these silly people.

Humor is a GOOD thing! It helps people from taking up weapons and getting into combat with each other.

I never used the word "appalling", nor do I find this blog to be such. I find it fantastically entertaining - sort of a mixture between cage fighting and and "reality" TV show.

If the responses were actually to accomplish anything more than entertainment, then the people that respond in here wouldn't act like a bunch of kids. Since a lot of these comments drag in christianity I thought I'd just remind them of what St. Paul's letters said to those stubborne Corintians way back then. It was just away to remind them that maybe they ought to keep God out of their fussing and fighting.

Wouldn't you agree?

I find people like you who do the very things you preach against sickening.

Yes, she is going to Financial management to take over Mrs Moore's job but Mrs Moore hasn't left and the vote for the new director hasn't been taken yet. A county from other commissioners says it's Moore by a four to three count.
How can Jackson be allowed to vote when he is no longer the school director just a lame duck guess he just has to get in those last destructive paybacks.
