OK, So I Lost!
The 7th District voters, not the people, decided they wanted commissioners who are ineffective, uninformed and unable to manage their own money. They decided to get rid of a double dipper who embarrassed the entire district by his behavior on you tube, and keep the liar and thief. The logic of such is beyond me except that many choose to ignore the truth because the lie is more convenient.

I am glad Connie Fox Howell got roasted in the trustees race. That woman isn't smart enough to train dogs to poop outside.
Overall it was a great night. Janice Reese was ousted. David Adams was sent packing. The idiot, Terry Harwell, got the boot. Jim Greene can go home and cry in his pillow and Jerry Bryant got what he deserved. I don't think the citizens could have spoken much louder.
Maybe we can finally get a wheel tax passed and get the county going in the right direction.

Doug, I appreciate your comment and agree with you as far as dealing with reasonable people goes. The problem is with unreasonable people. I see the current situation in Giles County much as I view the situation in Israel. Hamas fires thousands of rockets into Israel and builds dozens of tunnels to transport combatants into Israel to kidnap and kill Israelis, finally Israel fights back and they are called the bad guys. When you are under a constant barrage of rockets the only thing you can do is fight back or be destroyed.
When officials steal and lie and act disrespectfully they deserve nothing but exposure. It's very frustrating to be nice and respectful and have that taken as weakness and stupidity. Having the truth viewed as insignificant is unacceptable to me. I can work with any one but I will not compromise with what is clearly wrong and those who embrace it.

My question was "Isn't there a law/rule that early vote isn't to be made public until polls close @ 7:PM?" If so, Mr. Barrett has a right to complain, as does anyone else that cares if rules & laws are followed. Whoever disclosed this information broke the law, if there is such.

What would be the point of calling the Election Office to ask if early voting numbers were indeed released early? Of course it would be denied. Better to contact the State Elections Commission and ask what the law is regarding that matter.

I'm not sure what the penalty in Tennessee is for releasing the early voting results before the polls close, but it is illegal. NO results are supposed to be divulged before the polls are closed. It would probably fall under the voter tampering/fraud rules. Regardless, it is definitely a violation. Someone should probably ask super dave. Early vote results were also heard at Martin Colonial Hall. I doubt result of any race could have been affected unless #'s were very close. That was NOT the case in G.C.Judge race. How ever if someone is breaking the law (any law) they shoud be punished or else they will continue to break more laws of bigger impact.

I called the State of Tennessee election office yesterday and was told it was not compliant with regulations to disclose the results of early voting before the polls have closed. We need proof but if any one has it you can call Mark Goins at the State Election office at 615 741 7956.

I have thought that Byrant was the cg for a long time. He just lost his school board seat because he was so stupid now he's running for city council that's all we need is Byrant teaming up with Harwell to see who is dumbest.
I don't know if he's cg or not, but I certainly do agree with your assessment of what will happen should he gain a seat on the council.
He obviously spends too much time in the pharmacy. I think a pill count is in order.
