Mr mcpeters, I do not agree with trimed, when he says your post topics are negative connotation or pessimistic demeanor. I think the question your asking are very legimate, and a lot of giles county people are interested in hearing the answers. sometime you gotta stir up the hornets nest in order to find out how many they are ?

Look closely and you'll see that this is a topic that was emailed me. Not my idea, in other words. Just as I have a rule that I allow pretty much anything to be posted without deletion, so do I have a rule for using all the topics that are emailed me. If you want to see bright and cheerful topics, you simply need to think one up, and email it to me, mcpeters@usit.net.
I hope this clarifies the whole "negativity" situation.
Whether Mr. McPeters selects every topic or not there is a trend toward negativity on this blog. I realize that people aren't here just to talk about positive issues but there seems to be a decidedly negative spin put on nearly everything written on this blog. Not only that I haven't had a real debate on this blog because everytime I have disagreed with someone they end up just telling me I'm stupid because of the way I feel about certain issues. I have a teen-age son and we are not allowed to call others stupid or to tell each other to shut up in our house. When my son tells me something is stupid I always tell him to come up with a better description than that. I tell him that calling something or others stupid is a cop out when you don't have any real input to add to the conversation. This may seem stupid to some or a little old fashioned but that's just the way I see it. I probably won't log on or read anymore because there is just not to much learn here. I hope that you all can learn to love everyone even the people you disagree with after all this is what God wants us to do.

Sounds like a question that is very legimitate to me, I think the citizens of giles county, would like to hear the answers, of fellow giles county citizens. I do not believe this to be "negative connotation or pessimistic demeanor." One question I would like to hear comments on is the selling of the spring to a canadian co. Also comments on the Hunter Smith building??

I was also born and raised in the Bodenham Community and like you, so disappointed with the County Executive. During the election and afterwards, I was surprised how many people didn’t know anything about the things she did while serving her first term. I don’t know if it was they were just not interested or just didn’t keep up with our local leaders.
All my life I have loved and respected Mrs. Jane Parker and written on this blog stating that fact, but I can’t do that anymore. The behavior I witnessed of Mrs. Jane Parker on election day ended the respect I had for her. I was simply appalled!

Janet would avoid any suit that possibility being filed against her. Too many things would come to light and she will never allow that to happen.

If you are close to the Vanzants then you know she has used her "retarded son" with us at the Senior Citizens Center for years. Mrs. Harwell didn't have to use him. Janet Vanzant has used him for years, when she wasn't busy taking stuff out of our pantry.

That remark has Lydia Cross' name written all over it. I worked with her or she was employed at our school. I worked while she and Ann played. Lydia never could spell. She always shot her mouth off where she didn't have any business. Like what she has said here about Vickie. What you should know is that she was not nice to the special needs children. Many times she was rude and ugly to them. Just as this remark is rude and ugly. As the senior lady said, consider the source.

I'm one of the people who told Terry Harwell that Chris Morris was helping spread the lie. Chris isn't as innocent as you think. Just ask his wife. She was there. From what I hear Chris wanted to meet and then didn't show up. From what I hear he is going to confront those of us who told Terry what he was saying behind their backs. I'm still waiting to be confronted. But I don't think that will happen because he knows what he told me. You might have your fine people mixed up. Unless the anonymous writer is a Morris.

You OWE “Mrs.” Harwell, yes, she knows she is married, an apology in a big way! I was the person that wrote the post that you are ASSUMING, Mrs. Harwell wrote. You should be ashamed of yourself! Simply calling her “big Vick” speaks volumes of you as a person!!!!!!!!!! But those in your circle of Janet buddies as all of us know, are total void of honesty and integrity.
I have just returned home from the hospital and was livid when I read your attack on Mrs. Harwell, to which she did not deserve! You, as others know, full well if Mrs. Harwell has something to say, she will gladly sign her name to all her post. NOW, ALOLOGIZE TO HER!
Probably the only reason she had not responded herself is due to the fact, her son has just had back surgery, and her daughter had a new baby a few days later and she is trying to help with the other grandchildren and working everyday also.

I am well aware there are: “four of you people that continue to post hateful, untrue statements about Vicky on this blog.”
For your information, there are several people, myself included, that have donated money and are planning on spending what ever it takes to identify you from you’re your post. It will be costly for sure but we consider it will be money well spent to reveal to the entire county just who you four really are!
We know if we confront you, we will only hear more lies, so we decided this was the best way to go. I’m not just trying to warn you so you will stop posting. We don’t have to do that, your post are, “forever right here in cyberspace.”
Also, Vicky and Terry Harwell have absolutely nothing to do with or even know we have these plans in the works.

WOW....I too dislike the bashing the Harwells have been receiving. But it scares me to think there are those who would pay money to some computer hack to discover who has been making the unkind remarks. This is very frightening, because it could happen to anyone who speaks his or her mind on here. I shall no longer post anything. There are just too many dangerous people out there to take the chance. We have no intention of targeting anyone else, so you have no reason to discontinue posting and using this blog. Our only goal is to just exposes certain people and vindicate us.
Like I said, there are only four and we already know who they are, but their only use of the forum is to spread their on agenda to try and cover for their on untruthful statements of some people. The cost is going to be enormous so, we are looking into other means also.

For one thing nothing I wrote is illegal you are only mad because someone is now writing crap against you and two are you or anyone going to spend lots of money to find out who has been writing slanderous remarks against The Vanzant and Parker family such as lier, thief, lesbian, bad parent etc. etc.etc. If you are going to dish it out then take it.? I think it is wrong for the new commission to keep trying to undo what the previous commision did. It seems to me that doubles our cost for representation. Besides the old commission had more experience.

To undo what the previous commission has accomplished is exactly what a group of people in this county are attempting to do. That is why they had "their people" running as candidates. Well, it didn't work, because enough voters saw the agenda and did not elect them. But we have to remain vigilant. These people are not going to just stop what they're doing. And I have never understood why.
The passed Resolutions that are now being reversed are arranged by the CE. Have you noticed the new sponsors are all part of her clique?
