Lies And Arrogant Children Pushing Attack On Syria

This is the most disgustingly disingenuous president and administration in my life time. The use of chemical weapons is a terrible, horrible thing, no question about that but the use of chemicals IN Syria has not been factually proven to be the work of one side or the other and that is a fact. The outrage about chemical weapons is a red herring to allow us to become involved in this civil war. Look, Syria has not signed any treaties prohibiting the use of chemical agents against enemy combatants so Syria has not violated any international treaties as has been claimed. Stop the lies. The idea that American soldiers have not been subjected to chemical weapons since WWI is just plain bull. The US used napalm in both Korea and Viet Nam, twenty million gallons of agent orange was used in Viet Nam, tens of thousands of American Veterans have died or still suffer from its effects.

Sure it's terrible that people were killed by chemical weapons but would they be less dead if they had been shot in the head? Sure it is an outrage that people were possibly gassed by their own government. Here's the dirty little secret our government doesn't want us to know or think about; We, this nation, signed the international treaties prohibiting the use of chemical agents as weapons but we have used some of those prohibited chemical agents against our own people right here in the United States. What is commonly referred to as tear gas is banned by international treaty from use on a battlefield but is used regularly by police forces and the FBI. Remember how the FBI pumped occupied buildings full of tear gas, a highly flammable chemical, at Waco? Remember how 49 men and women and 27 children died as a result of that action, an action that would have been an international crime had it taken place on a battlefield instead of in Texas.

There must be clear trustworthy heads and concise proofs in order to justify an attack on a sovereign nation that presents no immediate danger to this country. There must be a clear cut plan of objectives before such an attack and there must be a commitment by completely involved leadership for such an attack. Death is simply far too serious to be considered on the basis of lies and phony outrage.

Reminds me of the good old days when George Bush (jr.) never told a lie about weapons of mass destruction.

So Obama is more "disgustingly disingenuous" than the American presidents that used napalm and Agent Orange on our own troops? Really? We all know why you hate Obama and it has nothing to do with his policies.

amazing that 4:19 and 5:09 both overdosed on the obama lies.
I dislike obama's and his stupid wife and it has nothing to do with anything but their arrogance and policies. Both are disbarred disgraced lawyers who hate this country and the people who made it great, including Dr. Martin Luther King who was a registered Republican.

In response to the Viet Nam comment by WAB

Remember the tens of thousands of veterans who lost their lives or suffered disabilities because of Irac and Afghanistan ????? And, how about those service personnel who continue to get wounded and killed because BUSH had an attitude.

If you are going to pick on the current President then equally pick on those who went before.

I am a wounded and decorated Viet Nam vet.

To 8:16 I was not "picking " on the incompetent child nor do I hold Bush and most of his predecessors in high esteem. We went to Viet Nam under Kennedy's watch but it was Johnson and his lies about the "fierce" naval battle in the Gulf of Tonkin. What Bush the first did was drive an invading army of of Kuwait a major supplier of oil. Bush the second built a coalition of over forty nations and over thirty UN resolutions supporting his actions. Obama has no UN resolutions and no nation supporting us, in fact our biggest supporter refused to support him. Also over 70% of the population is opposed to any action in Syria. We have no strategic interest and no immediate danger from Syria and while people dying is tragic both sides of the civil war are our enemies and each as vicious as the other. There is no nation that trust obama's leadership and only a fool would not consider the possible reprisals for an unprovoked attack on a sovereign nation.
Obama is responsible for carrying on and increasing the war Afghanistan.
The bottom line is that even as bad as others have been obama has no credibility and very little attention to the task at hand. Think about it he wants to bomb a country for the use of chemicals against our enemies yet he has yet to even arrest one single person involved in the deaths of Americans in Benghazi; news media have met with the ring leaders several times but the government can't find them! As obama refused to send help he was preparing for yet another fund raiser trip.
I appreciate your service it means a great deal that you accepted your responsibility and did your job well, I spent over twenty years in the army and remember when I could not even wear a uniform when off post because of the hatred shown toward the military.

I am reserving an opinion on action against Syria until more facts are obtained. Facts, I say. That's what we should deal with, unlike the post at 7:15. Folks like the poster mentioned are the primary reason for rampant rumors that we see every day. Where did you get your information that the Obamas were disbarred? Can't you take the 2 minutes or so required to verify your accusations? Check on your facts next time and perhaps you won't seem like such an idiot. Stupid poster.

The status of both Obama’s license to practice law are at least very suspicious, as with so much of their history the secrecy is incredible and the expense to maintain that secrecy is astronomical. For instance why would someone pay well over two million dollars to have their school records from Occidental college and Harvard sealed from examination. It is widely reported by those who were supposedly classmates of B. Obama that no one, not a single individual student has remembered him in any class.

If a person is called into the boss’s office and given the opportunity to resign or be fired which would most people take? Resigning is preferred on one’s résumé over having been fired.
When M. Obama worked at her political appointed job with the University of Chicago Hospital as a legal counsel, there was some very shady deals taking place and the Bar Association of Illinois investigated, just prior to the announcement of their decision M. Obama voluntarily surrendered her law license. Her official status was and continues to be "voluntarily inactive".
The situation with B. Obama is a little different but very consistent with his history of playing loose with the truth. While he claimed to be a “Constitutional Professor” the truth is he was an occasional lecturer not even an assistant professor of anything. The Illinois Bar was investigating B. Obama for a little matter of being less than truthful on his Bar application. Like with his wife just before the Bar announced their decision B. Obama “surrendered” his license and was given and continues to hold the official status “Voluntarily Retired”. Now before anyone makes the claim that since he is president why would either he or his wife keep their law license active, keep in mind that both Clinton's and every other president that was an attorney kept their license active, of course Bill Clinton had to “ Voluntarily surrender” his license after he was convicted of making false statements in the Lewinsky matter.
The bottom line seems to be that for the very first time in our history we have a president and first lady who were practicing attorneys and both no longer are authorized to practice law after surrendering their licenses to their Bar Associations.

You raise some valid points, Mr. B. My post was to simply point out that there was no disbarment as the above poster stated.True, the circumstances may be suspicious, but it was not a cut-and-dried case of being disbarred. Thanks for your articulate and thoughtful reply.

I believe Obama was planted in the White House for the purpose of destroying our country. I suppose it's true that we get the kind of government we allow. Even today, I would be afraid to make that statement in front of the "wrong" person.
I think Obama is an evil and dangerous man and that FEMA camps just might be real. He and his goons want to take away our rights, and church-going, Bible-believing people seem to be unconcerned. Many of them voted for him, KNOWING how he stands on abortion and gay marriage.
I'm a concerned American and NOT a racist. The destruction of my country has nothing to do with the fact that Obama is referred to as a black man. From what I know, he is half white. Either way, he and those behind him are leading us down a destructive path.
I wonder how much longer we will be able to voice our opinions and protest? A friend of mine cautioned me that I ought to be very careful what I say about Obama. Do you find that troubling?

There are those who cannot stand the thought or reality that anyone, other than those within their sef perceived inner circle, can be elected, appointed or allowed to hold a position of authority; unless the inner circle gives its belssing. Whether it be Giles County or our country does not matter. The select few will always bitch about anyone who rises above the masses and does well without their approval.

8:41 are you really that stupid as to believe that obama was not selected and elevated by a select few? He has been a lazy ass dope using, dealing punk by his own account, read his books for goodness sake it's in his own words. If it wasn't for the anarchist Ayers, Valarie Jarrett and their bullying and blackmailing everyone else out of the way he never would have gotten off the streets of Chicago. His whole educational history has been locked under millions of dollars of security. There is no serious question left that he received financial aide from this country as a foreign student from Indonesia. The question is how did he live so lavishly as "community organizer", many believe it was from money given by Saudi Arabia and possibly other Middle Eastern Muslim countries.

Why do you, cg, insist on referring to yourself in the third person? There are many theories on that subject, all pointing to major character flaws. According to psychologist, it often indicates that you have an exaggerated view of how great you are. This comes directly from a renowned Harvard professor in a book called "Identifying and Understanding the Narcissistic Personality." It's such a pity that none of your peers share the same overblown opinion of yourself that you do. Oh well, you've got do live with yourself, we do not.
