Why Would a Republican Representative on The Election Commission Be Supporting A Democrat In A State Race?

Why has Election Commissioner David Rackley, appointed to the Election commission as a Republican, been engaged in actively supporting a democrat Ty Cobb against a Republican Dr. Joey Hensley in the State Senate Race?

It's reported that Mr. Rackley has attended fund raisers for Cobb and certainly has been a central distributor for Cobb political signs.  How can the fact of supporting a democrat be reconciled with the idea that you are a Republican holding an appointed political position within the Republican Party?

Maybe Ty Cobb has values that are more in line with his own. You have to remember that every Democrat isn't liberal.

I would ask why you call yourself a conservative but act more like a crying liberal?

Also, what business is it of yours?

Because Ty Cobb is the real deal.

Better question: why would a blogmaster be supporting a candidate with a sister-in-law who spent years on death row for murder? Are those your values? surely not.

Ty Cobb may be a nice guy but with that D next to his name he has aligned himself with same sex marriages, abortion on demand, a country with no borders where illegals are given preferential treatment over citizens and believe debt is the way to a strong economy.
What some may call whining I prefer to call exposing the lying hypocrisy of people who have no integrity. Look at the bottom of this post and you'll see my name ole great anonymous coward.

As head of the economic development commission I am sure that fact is not lost on Mr. Rackley.

11:47 have you been on LSD for a long period of time? I can't imagine how anyone could possibly say such a thing in light of all the available information to the contrary.
Cobb is for a state income tax and that alone is enough to disqualify him.

11:47 you have to be kidding. When obama took office unemployment was below 8% since he has been in office it hasn't been below 8% even with all the stimulus spent repaying his union supporters.
First thing you need to know is the president don't create private sector jobs but can create conditions that are favorable to date this president has created conditions detrimental to business expansion. His incredibly expensive health care plan along has been responsible for such uncertainty that jobs have been lost and businesses refuse to expand.
Now as for being a democrat I would challenge anyone to please tell me how those who claim to be Christians and especially Christian leaders, can support a party who has intentionally removed all mention of God from their basic political statement, brag about being pro abortion, support same sex marriage and desiring all abortions be paid for with taxpayer money, believe in open borders and have embraced some of the most radical of Muslims.
Now some may say well I don't believe in those things but the fact is when you vote for people who do believe in those things you are supporting the expansion of those things. Even when the individual candidate states they oppose such atrocities having a D next to their name lends support to the party that stands for those things.
If you want to be a democrat or a republican that's fine but at least be honest about it and understand that your vote is supporting what that party stands for.

Officially 24 million unemployed unofficially more than 38 million unemployed or underemployed. median income $4,000 less than when he took office. Gasoline double what it was when he took office. Food prices increased more than one hundred percent in some cases.
Under the democrat president, democrat controlled house and senate unemployment rose to over 10% and did not come down significantly until after the republicans regained control of the house.
Obama has been so bad for employment even some unions are withholding financial support. If a person relied on only one source for all their information they'd be spouting off as incorrectly and as dumb as you have.

Sometimes you just have to scratch you head at such nonsense. There hasn't been a democratic president, senate and house since the days of Clinton when the budget was balanced and we generated a surplus. Bush had the whole deck for 6 years and the republicans drove us into the ditch. Remember $4.50 gas And your IRA statements ?
Fact: under President Obama, the stock market has soared 70%, the monthly loss of 800,000 jobs has ended, we acctually show positive job growth now, the number of government employees has gone down and 4.5 million new jobs have been created in the private sector which more than were created under 8 years of Bush.

Yeah of course those j"jobs" he created with stimulus money that gave jobs for those "shovel ready" things, like roads that really didn't need paving, and then those jobs ended...those private sector jobs? So are we to believe that under G. Bush there were more than 23 million unemPloyed? If Obama created all these jobs that would mean that there are fewer than before?

Fact: those who would champion Obama will always find a way to justify his takingg from the rich to the poor. Maybe he should be called robin hood.

Gas prices have doubled since Obama took office.

The statement that 4.5 million jobs have been created was a lie and CNN went as to far to say that this morning.

Anyone that would vote for Obama has to be gay, lazy, okay with killing babies or just plain stupid.

That would be my guess as to why Mr. Rackley is supporting Dr. Hensley. And I'm registered Republican but I can still choose to vote for a Democrat if I feel that they are the best person for the job. Maybe everyone should start using some common sense and vote for people and their beliefs and not for parties. I believe that I should pay taxes to take care of roads, national parks, the sick, the elderly and the mentally ill. I do not believe I should work hard and pay taxes for those who are lazy and unwilling to work.

The choice we are forced to make today is one that says I will work to help those who don't care to help themselves or I will try to do the best for myself and help those who can't mentally or physically do it for themselves.

I don't think any country can be progressive and successful if the citizens don't take personal responsibilty. I don't want to pay for the lazy. I don't believe abortion should be a form of birth control. I don't believe a person should sit back and draw unemployment while an illegal immigrant takes a job that pays minimum wage.

Our moral code as humans should steer us away from what the democrat party has become. I just hope that people will look past race and see that conservatives value family, ethics and personal responsibility.

Anyone voting for Obama has given up on the American Dream and wants a handout. It is sad that this country has gotten to this point.

Respectfully, we can agree to disagree. I believe that government is there to do collectively what we cannot do individually: defend the nation militarily and provide a safety net for the weakest among us.

There is no question that abuse will appear in any programs. They can be egregious and well-advertised: a $500 hammer for the defense department or a healthy, able person receiving food stamps. I happen to believe those are the exception and not the rule.

I therefore refuse to condemn military spending because of abusing contractors and similarly would not scuttle social safety net programs because of abusive recipients.

It is insulting and misguided to suggest one party is anti-American. Though I disagree vehemently with Republican beliefs, I do not call them anti-American nor do I mangle the name of their party just to be petty. It is the Republican Party and the Democratic Party, both of which are comprised of Americans who fiercely love their country and its dreams and aspirations.

As you stated we can agree to disagree and while I agree with some of your points I must strongly disagree with your last paragraph.
While many in both parties certainly love their country it seems that many have very different visions of our country to the point they have become enemies of the country.
The prime duty of the president, one he swore an oath to is "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
While he has sought to circumvent, ignore and violate that Constitution the one major violation that stand hands above the rest is his failure to protect our borders, to the point of suing states that have sought to protect their borders and their people.
Just as we watched the majority of delegates vote to keep God's name and denial of Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel, out of the democrat platform with the approval of this president, the majority of the democrats have become hostile to the founding principles of this nation preferring the more socialistic attitude of the old soviet union that collapsed around that socialism. While those in need should be helped and opportunity should be available there is no justification for continually penalizing and the demonization of success and work. They have become a party seeking to guarantee outcomes regardless of effort instead of simply providing equal opportunities.
Giving billions to Brazil to develop their oil industry while continually destroying our own has become far too often the norm instead of the exception in our foreign policy. Creating situations such as requiring ethanol in gasoline, which has been proven to reduce mileage and drive up food cost, is destructive to the people.
Giving preferential treatment to illegals over citizens is an absolute violation of citizen rights.
But the decline in the moral standards led by this president is the more egregious disappointments.
When Muslims are given special treatment at the expense of Christians something is desperately
wrong.
When it has become acceptable for a person to be allowed to use another persons social security number, refuse to show any former writings from college or transcripts and any questions of those actions are label racist we have lost our founding principles.
When a person such as this president attends the most exclusive private high school then is allowed to claim a life of abject poverty or his wife to claim poverty while living in a family whose income was well over $50,000 in the 1970's and not be challenged on those we have lost our moral compass.
There is no perfection in either of the five major parties just as there is no perfection outside that of God, watching the dismantling of our Constitution and our principles by those who guide the democrat party is simply more than I can accept.

Too bad though that your characterization is simply untrue.

This President has deported more illegal aliens in 4 years than Bush did in 8.

This President insisted that God be included in the platform and He is.

The ethanol requirement was pushed by farm state republicans not by this President and were put into place under Bush. This administration has not increased any ethanol requirements.

The foreign aid to Brazil was established by President Bush in an effort to curtail the strength of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. That aid, incidentally, is only a fraction of the no-bid contracts awarded to contractors of Iraqi oil field development made by Bush. That money should have been spent in Texas and the Dakotas. Unfortunately Bush thought otherwise.
Moral standards? Let's don't even begin with Romney's hiding money overseas and refusing to disclose his tax returns.
So next time, please get your facts straight.

Surely you jest. While neither Bush nor Obama have very good records on immigration the “facts” you state or just inaccurate and very incomplete. Not only have more illegals come into the country, primarily through Mexico, they have been welcomed to access of every governmental program available from free education, reduced cost for college below state residents, medical care, welfare, food stamps reduced rent etc, all this against current law I might add. Fast and Furious was an Obama program through Eric Holder that resulted not only in a large number of guns going to drug gangs but also in the death of at least one US Border Agent. It was also Obama’s justice department that obstructed the investigation into the gun running program and dismissed the solid case of voter intimidation against the New Black Panthers for actions, on video, at Philadelphia voter precincts. It is this same “justice” department that has tried to prevent states from enforcing their legally passed laws with government mandates and presidential orders that were issued outside the powers given by the Constitution. The so called “Dream Act” has given amnesty to an unknown number, in the millions, of illegals.
Your statement that, “This President insisted that God be included in the platform and He is”, is extremely misleading since the president personally approved the platform without the mention of God and Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. It was only after a huge amount of criticism and much controversy in the vote taking that it was reinstated to the loud boos of the crowd of delegates. A quick fact check at any unbiased site will show that as fact. Also in that platform is support for same sex marriage.
I agree the ethanol requirement was pushed by some farm organizations, not necessarily republicans and certainly not conservatives. While the biofuels had their political start in the Carter administration they certainly grew under the Clinton and Bush administration but it was 2009 that the EPA announced l requirements that most refiners, importers, and non-oxygenate blenders of gasoline to displace 10.21% of their gasoline with renewable fuels such as ethanol. That requirement resulted in at least 11.1 billion US gallons of renewable fuels were sold in 2009. The percentage requirement increased to 7.76% in 2008 and to 10.21% in 2009. Now the EPA under Obama is pushing for up to 20% ethanol in gasoline. I believe if you check Obama was sworn into office in January 2008. There are certainly enough villains on both sides of the aisle who carry responsibility for food shortages and elevated prices. Oh, by the way even the government now admits that ethanol has decreased mileage by as much as 20%.
In April 2009, long after bush had left office, the U.S. Export-Import Bank, " approved $2 billion to Petrobras, Brazil's national oil company, to fund the development of off-shore drilling. Then Petrobras, which has several million shares owned by George Soros’ hedge fund, committed to supply China with 200,000 barrels of oil a day for the next ten years. Soros was a major supporter and contributor of Obama's presidential bid. This had absolutely nothing to do with Bush or Chavez. Meanwhile the Canadian pipeline with over a million jobs is forbidden in this country by the Obama administration.
Part one

Part two

Is it any more or less a moral issue that Harry Reid and Nancy Polesi both have funds in foreign bank accounts? Morality is not about where a person has their money but in what they are doing with the killing of millions of babies, Obama as a Senator even voted in support of allowing babies of botched abortions who made it outside the womb to not be given any care but simply left to die. Morality is more about the subversion of marriage between a man and a woman, tax funded birth control, walking away from our friends, supporting organizations that seek to destroy our nation, continuing support for programs that destroy the family unit, than about where a person deposits their personal money.
If tax records are so important to you then I suppose that you are also as interested in Obama’s college transcripts and writings.
Now one other thing to think about is how did someone who attended the most elite private school in Hawaii, was able to go on month long vacations with his grandparents, and attend the most prestigious universities in the country be considered as a person who came from abject poverty. Why would a person who was working at a prestigious law firm in Chicago at a hefty salary be wearing a pair of shoes half a size to small and dumpster diving for furniture? Mrs. Obama simply made up a sad story that was just not true anymore than she grew up in poverty, her dad was making over $50,000 a year in the 70’s when she was growing up, he was also a powerful person as award captain in Daily’s Chicago machine. Morality also involves lying for personal gains.
So to quote you, “next time, please get your facts straight”.

By my logic when you take a persons money you owe that person. Romney is completely wrong for not supporting Rep. Todd Akin, who never said that a woman could not get pregnant from a legitimate rape and you probably know that. I little research will show you that women you are in a stressful situation whether from the terrible stress of being raped or the self imposed stress of trying too hard to get pregnant. And yes not all alleged rapes are really rapes as most everyone knows sometimes the claim of rape is next day remorse or payback for a nasty breakup. I know a man who lived with a woman as man and wife for more than six months he was scheduled to be discharged and refused to marry the woman and she charged him with rape. Three months of horrible treatment and the truth finally came out when she recanted, surely you remember the Lacrosse team that was charged with rape and the horrible experience they went through before the truth was finally proven?
Real rape is one of the most horrible things a person can endure with long lasting complications, but many have so lightly used the term that it no longer even carries the full horror of that terrible situation. A democrat candidate from Minnesota was arrested in a roadside part having sex with an underage boy and not only have there been no democrats condemn the actions there has been very little in the news media about it.
There is nothing nutty about Dr Hensley that I have found. He is a solid conservative.
Reagan was an elected president and not bound to support any particular candidate. Did you fell the same way about Kennedy, Clinton and so many others who supported, admired and idolized Senator Robert Byrd who was a grand dragon in the KKK.
When a person misspeaks and apologizes should they be forgiven?
If not how do you explain Joe Biden or even Barack 57 states Obama.

Rape is rape. If it happened, it is rape. One word says it all. It is insulting to women for republicans to use terms like "forceful rape" or "legitimate rape". No rape is legitimate.

Obviously, no rape occurred at Duke. I gather your friend did not rape his girlfriend, I do not know. But simply call it "rape" if it happened. Don't belittle our mothers, wives, sisters and daughters by suggesting they can be legitimately raped.

Have people lost their minds or just the ability to simply read words and understand the meaning of those words without the hysteria of emotional fabrication?

10:47 Of course women and men can be "illegitimately" raped, as legitimate means "being exactly as purposed: neither spurious nor false".
Just as you admit the highly publicized case at DUKE was not a legitimate rape as no rape took place. The claim of rape is what destroyed the lives of a number of people. There are many cases where a person has claimed rape only to have it disproved or the charge withdrawn. It's these false claims that diminish the horrible truth of rape. Let there be no misunderstanding on this issue a real, genuine, legitimate rape of a person is a horrible, traumatic experience that has very long lasting consequences. That is not nor has it been the issue. the question is whether all "claims" of rape are legitimate which even you agree are not.

11:00 the research is not mine and it's available to anyone willing to take the time to read it. No, I am not nor have I ever said, neither did Mr. Akin, a woman "cannot" get pregnant from being raped. What I said and research supports is that the more stress a woman is under the less likely she is to become pregnant, huge difference.
Now as for you sarcastic comments about photocopying degrees perhaps you could go to Kinko's and get a photocopy of a brain to carry around with you since your own brain is severely underused.

To 11:43 I could not possibly care less who Mr. Rackley votes for but I am concerned that a political party appointee would betray that party by publicly supporting a candidate from an opposing party. Can you not see the difference?
As for the violation of City Personnel policy why aren't you concerned how your tax dollars are spent. Would you take the same attitude if a city employee was using a city vehicle without authorization to go shopping at Cool Springs? How about if an employee took a thousand dollars from the city and spent it on personal items? There is little difference. Time has a value and when a person's time is sold to an employer they own that employer a full value of time. As taxpayers we are the employer and to me that is an important matter.

He may not be an officer in the local party but, he holds a position on the election commission based upon the fact that he is a registered Republican. Due to that reason, it is does not look good for someone who is representing our election commission as a Republican to be supporting a Democrat candidate,if in fact he is doing such a thing. If he wishes to come off the election commission, he can support whomever he wishes. However, as a representative of the Republican Party, he casts doubt among those he represents if supporting a candidate that is not a Republican. Surely that is easily understood. It is just that simple, as the core beliefs of the parties are vastly different these days. Doesn't make David Rackley a bad person if he in fact is supporting a Democrat candidate, he just shouldn't be sitting on the election commission in the capacity he serves if he is supporting a Democrat. Exactly the same as the local Democrat party also would want a staunch Democrat representing their party. I hope that clears up any confusion in a civilized manner, without calling names and putting anyone down.

However, I will do all I can to see the likes of Bill Haslam, Jim Somerville, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and particularly Barrack Hussein Obama defeated. These people have got to go.
I'm about to go to church services shortly. 4:39 you prove a total ignorance when it comes to defending your liberal views.
The comment from 1:57 obviously referred to Mrs Palin's son with Down Syndrome but in your narrow msnbc perverted mind you just had to try and get in a dig at her even at the expense of showing how ignorant and stupid you are.

Here are a few facts to help your noodle, but I doubt they will alter your satisfaction with being ignorant, Sarah and Todd Palin, her one and only husband, have five children: sons Track (born 1989) and Trig Paxson Van (born 2008), and daughters Bristol Sheeran Marie (born 1990), Willow (born 1994), and Piper (born 2001). Her youngest child, referred to by the 1:57 poster, Trig, was prenatally diagnosed with Down syndrome.
Palin has two grandchildren, a boy, the one you referred so stupidly to, named Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, who was born to her eldest daughter, Bristol, and her then-fiancee, Levi Johnston, in 2008, and a girl named Kyla Grace Palin, who was born to son Track and his wife, Britta, in 2011.

Now to add a little juice to your condemnation, if you have children have they always done exactly the way you wanted, when you were growing up did you always do as your parents wanted, whose fault is it when a teen age child does something stupid against their parents beliefs?

What Governor Romney said is that he will not worry about those who are going to vote for Obama no matter what he does simply because he's black...well, half black and raised by whites. The reason he said that is because there is NOTHING he can do to change their minds. Were I a black man, I would be so ashamed that my people are led like sheep by the Democrats. What Romney is saying is that if blacks won't listen to people like Michael Steele and Alan Keyes (both blacks), there's nothing he can say to them.
Blacks have been told that Republicans will burn their churches and put them back into slavery. Why do Democrats do that? It's because they presume that blacks are ignorant enough that they will believe them. For the most part, they are right, and it's a shame.
You say Jesus wasn't concerned with gay marriage? Wrong. If that were true, then why is it stated in the Bible that men lying with men is an abomination to God? Oh yes, he was concerned about it. Read your Bible.

Oh, and not that this concverns you, but anti-abortion taxpayers will be forced to fund abortion on demand. Our country did end the war in Iraq, but it was near the end on its own. Obama took credit for it though. And yes, I believe Obama has given the enemy a timetable for withdrawing from Afghanistan. What a move! All they have to do is harrass the troops who are still there until they all leave. Then they walk right in and take over.
Oh, I think you forgot about the gas pricces under Obama. And does the unemployment rate (the true one) not trouble you. Does it bother you at all that food stamp recipients in our country is at a RECORD high? Unemployment may look like it's down but this cat is not counting the thousands who have given up on finding a job. Add to all this misery the fact that this idiot is pro gay marriage and pro murder of innocent children. Last but not least, he's a confessed Muslim who has no problem with the Muslim Brotherhood.
Are you out of your mind? You should be out there working hard to see Obama defeated.

Where are all those weapons of mass distruction that General Powell described to the UN General Counsel?

Oh that's right .... Powell was lied to by Chaney, Rumsfeld, and Rove who wrote the seech Powell gave and they lied about the "facts". Powell thought the speech was prepared by the National Security Counsel but it was not as described in Powell's book "It Wored for Me" His considerably more detailed (but nonetheless circumspect) discussion of his "notorious" United Nations speech in support of military action against Iraq is framed in the context of the most egregious intelligence failure in recent American history.

This does not stand well for the Bush administration.

You left out his whole quote. Quite convenient.

If the ugly winds of political discourse in this country have people coming after Muslims, I will stand with my Muslim brothers. If they come after Jews, I will stand with my Jewish brothers. Same for Catholics, Baptists, and Methodists in my book. What red-blooded, freedom loving American does not believe in that? You?

Since this is a free speech blog and since we still have that right, I am going to share an opinion of mine.
Anyhow, here's what I think. If Obama is defeated, he will NOT go peacefully into the night. No, I believe he will ramp up the racial tensions in this country to the point that there will be widespread violence. There's even speculation that he will, at the last possible minute, declare martial law and set himself up as the supreme ruler. I forsee internal violence here that will be a thousand times worse than that of the sixties. If he wins, our country goes down the tubes. I believe he will take our guns and silence free speech. Isn't this already beginning? I just hope voters will choose the lesser of the two evils and vote him out.
I truly hope Governor Romney is successful and that the Chicago community organizer is sent home for the winter.

You mentioned white bigots and the Klan. Where have you been; those are Democrat institutions? Do you remember Senator Robert KKK Byrd? How about George Wallace? There are many others, and they are also Democrats. That is the party of oppression and slavery...to entitlements and hand-outs. And if we lose this election to Obama, I will no longer have faith in the American people. The liberal polls show him ahead, but they lie constantly as they are in his pocket. They tried the same thing with Ronald Reagasn, and look what happened. He beat that stinking liberal in a landslide. I believe the same thing is going to happen this time. If it does, look for Obama to stir up racial tensions here like we have never seen. Be prepared for that.

Is it not interesting that all the civil rights legislation passed in the fifties and sixties was initiated and passed by republicans. Kennedy and Johnson both had to be brought to the table kicking and screaming before they finally reluctantly joined the band.
the problem is that a lie is very often more appealing than the truth and democrats have become experts at telling the lie and rewriting history. NO one has been more expert at the lie than obama, from the lie about growing up in poverty,to the lie about not being a socialist/communist.
His vision for America, a country he has refused to even honor by standing for the National Anthem or the Pledge of Alliance. He has even refused to wear the flag on his lapel while moochelle had no pride in this country until her husband was elected. What a pair of losers not because of their appearance but because of the pure disgust they hold for this country and it's peoples.

People absolutely amaze me in their defense of one Barrack Hussein Obama. That includes people with whom I attend church. How can that be?
If Obama is re-elected, I fear that our freedoms and our ountry will be lost. What is it about this that voters and Christians can't see? This is NOT an election about skin color but rather one in which the American people MUST defeat the most incompetent and poor excuse for a leader that we have ever had. He makes Jimmy Carter look great. Oh, how we need another Ronald Wilson Reagan!
Aside from Obama's spending us into poverty and his positions on such things as abortion, gay marriage, and the Muslim Brotherhood, let me share some startling information for those who still plan to go out and vote for him. You'll recall that our ambassador to Libya was murdered and drug through the streets just recently. You may also remember that there were simultaneous attacks on several of our Middle East embassies, Obama passed the murder off as just another bump in the road. WHAT! Hillary Rodham Clinton, Susan Rice, and Jay Carney went on television and made the claim that the murder and the embassy attacks were the result of a film that came out several months ago this year. WHAT! They lied. Obama lied. There's proof that they lied if you care to exert some mental energy to find out. Now is not the time to be asleep at the wheel and vote for a Democrat just because that's how your family has always voted! No, this is a time to stake a stand for our country and taske it back.
Thank God, I still have the freedom to express myself about this administration, although I fear that will soon be a thing of the past. These are very frightening times, and we simply must wake up.

Let's see. Number 1. We are going to take our country back. I'm for that! Wait....who exactly are we taking it back from? Well, never mind, it will just be fun to take it back....once we find the suckers that took it.

Okay. Number 2. When we have it back....now who is it again, we are supposed to give it to? If it's okay with you and your gang, let's not give it back to Wall Street this time. That didn't work out too well last time. How about just the white people then? They will know what to do with it. But wait...if we do that don't we leave out a lot of good Americans who love their country just as much as you and I?

Man, this is going to be a lot tougher than I thought. But I am ready when you get it figured out!

1:10 How about if we take the country back from the socialist that have lied and cheated their way through many elections and the manipulation of our laws to enrich and empower themselves while enslaving the majority of our citizens. How about if we take it back from those who seek to take away from the producers and give to the parasites that given nothing and take everything. Please don't insult the world by coming back with that tired ole cliche "forget the old and sick just let them die" I'm talking about the able bodied that refuse to work, the baby machines that continue to increase their income through making more babies who will suffer because of the laziness of their parents. Those who worked and earned their retirement and paid for their medical care are being robbed by the parasites and those who support them in an effort for greater power and wealth.
Is Romney the perfect person to lead this country, not by a long shot but he is far superior to obama who has proven to be a detached, slacker who has no conscience when it comes to lies.

I would suggest that when we take it back we give it to the people who are willing to live under it's Constitution, act responsibly, be productive and take pride in being an American. Yes, give it to the people who are aware of our history and proud of their contributions instead of standing with a hand out begging for the government to give more. JFK, inspired the nations with the quote, "ask not what your country can do for you but ask what you can do for your country", Obama and his gang have changed that to take all you can get ravage the country and destroy this evil country.
Your last sentence is the most telling of your entire comment, "Man, this is going to be a lot tougher than I thought. But I am ready when you get it figured out!"

Yes it will be a tough job but and yes you obviously will wait until someone else figures it out then you will jump in and take the credit. What a loser attitude.

Actually, this 47% of takers you and Romney like to degrade include decorated American veterans. Those men and women Sir are far from "takers". They are givers in the truest sense of the word.

These "slackers" so you say, are single parents who choose to work rather than live off government housing and food assistance.

It is telling that you want to "take the country BACK".

You have to put things in perspective. Mr Romney avoided paying more in taxes by deducting expenses for his non-placing "olympic" horse than 100 families of 4 in Giles county receive in a year in food stamps.

Now who are the real "takers"?

look the man broke no laws, he followed the tax code and did nothing wrong. He also paid far more in taxes than a hundred families in Pulaski and gave more to charities than 500 individuals in Pulaski. One of the things he has vowed to do if elected is restructure the tax code and do away with the loop holes many use for such tax breaks. Do you remember the used underwear Bill Clinton deducted on his taxes?

Amazingly closed minded and satisfied to be ignorant of simple facts.
I did not attempt to justify the deduction only to point out that it was completely legal and not unusual for people to use the deductions that are available to them.
If you are unhappy with the amount of income taxes you paid you can Buffet and obama can always make an extra contribution at anytime instead of just whining that other people should pay more.
