Who Is Who On A Blog That Allows Anonymous Postings?

One way that I have chosen to operate this blog is to allow people to post anonymously. This certainly does create some problems but I believe it is more important to keep the doors open to conversation than to close them with restrictions on free speech. There may be any number of reasons why a person chooses to post anonymously a lack of responsibility, fear of retaliation, desire to avoid personal criticism any number of reasons, some very legitimate and some not so realistic. Some who continually post lies as truth, gossip as fact and outrageous claims and charges without any supportive evidence are nothing but cowards hiding behind the anonymous label.

I have chosen to post using my name Allen Barrett with the heading of wab. The only post that I have put on this blog that I have written have carried my name. Of course this has opened the way to far more personal criticism than had I chosen to post anonymously. I post with my name so people can respond, challenge and debate the things I post and know with whom they are involved.

Recently one anonymous poster has decided that I am posting as William James and others. This is absolutely and completely untrue and without any merit.

To make it very clear I HAVE NOT POSTED ANYTHING OTHER THAN OVER MY OWN NAME. Anyone can contact me at most anytime to discuss anything I have posted, or to suggest a topic.
