Giles Free Speech Zone

The purpose of the "Giles Free Speech Zone" is to identify problems of concern to the people of Giles County, to discuss them in a gentlemanly and civil manner, while referring to the facts and giving evidence to back up whatever claims are made, making logical arguments that avoid any use of fallacy, and, hopefully, to come together in agreement, and find a positive solution to the problem at hand. The Folks In Nashville Have Spoken And We Have Four Official Candidates For Director Of Schools!

Four names were given to the School Board tonight to be voted on at some later date for Director of Schools. There is scheduled a work session for the School Board set for 26 February at 4:15PM to discuss and formulate procedures for conducting the interviews.
A later date will be set f or the public interview sessions. 
The recommended candidates are:

 1) Ms. Rose Brown,  currently employed with the school system and serving as a County Commissioner.

 2) Dr. Philip Wright,  currently principal at Spring Hill Middle School

 3) Mr. J.B. Smith,  currently principal at Bridgefort Middle School

 4) Dr. Tim Webb,  currently principal at Richland High School
