I'm Back...
...but maybe not for long.
It's been two months since I walked into the ICU at Hillside Hospital, and found my dear mother dead. (No, nobody tried to soften the blow -- the staff just let me walk in to her room, and figure out that she was gone.) And for the last two months, I have ignored this blog... but that will now be changing.
For the time being, I'm going to try my very best to put in one hour a day to maintaining this blog. I have an awful lot I need to do, but I believe I can spare at least an hour per day. In the long run, though, I'd like to find someone else to hand over the reigns to. So, if anyone out there in Readerland wishes to take over for me, then they should email me -- "mcpeters@usit.net" -- and tell me why they would be perfect for the job. Incidentally, in addition to following the policies I've established, I also want the next Blogmaster to be anonymous. That's the only way he (or she) can avoid the sort of stupid personal attacks that I've always had to put up with.
There's a tremendous backlog of postings I need to review for approval, plus quite a lot of old email I need to read. Just be patient, and I'll get done what I can, as fast as I can. And one other thing... your comments will now appear immediately without any approval from me. Hopefully no-one will abuse this relaxation of the blog rules... I really don't want to have to approve everything that goes through here, okay?
