The purpose of the "Giles Free Speech Zone" is to identify problems of concern to the people of Giles County, to discuss them in a gentlemanly and civil manner, while referring to the facts and giving evidence to back up whatever claims are made, making logical arguments that avoid any use of fallacy, and, hopefully, to come together in agreement, and find a positive solution to the problem at hand. WAB Attempts to Question the School Board...

...and runs into the oh so respectful of free speech, two minute limit.



Isn't it great to see "public servants" show such respect to the taxpayers? Listening to Mrs. Norman just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

Cagle Gives Barrett the Finger...

...and you can see it happen, thanks to YouTube:



Note how Barrett's camera tilts over toward the table, right after you see Cagle's finger approaching his chest. Too bad this is a "point of view" video... a camera view off to the side would have been much more conclusive in terms of evidence. But then, there are also eyewitnesses at the scene who attest that Barrett got poked in the chest by the lawyer, so that oughtta count for something. Watch the video, and judge for yourself.
